WWN FIP HEATSTROKE 2021 REPORT: JON DAVIS VS. JD DRAKE & MORE

Before the show started, Trevin Adams announced that WWN will return to the OCC Roadhouse on September 19th for Shine and October 10th for FIP.

Trevin Adams welcomes everyone to the show.

Match Number One:  Island Kings (Jaka and Sean Maluta) versus Metro Brothers (JC Metro and Chris Metro [with Skinny Vinny])

Maluta and Chris start things off.  They lock up and go to a stalemate.  They lock up again and Maluta with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Chris with a kick but Maluta with a drop kick.  Maluta gets a near fall.  Maluta with a chop and forearm.  Jaka tags in and he hits a side slam after Maluta kicks Chris in the head and Jaka gets a near fall.  Jaka with punches and a head butt.  Jaka with a chop and Irish whip but he runs into an uppercut.  Jaka with a spinebuster.  Jaka with an elbow drop for a near fall.  JC tags in and they hit a double back elbow and JC gets a near fall.  JC chokes Jaka.  

Jaka with a head butt and uppercut.  JC is sent into the turnbuckles and Jaka with a chop.  Maluta tags in and Jaka with a slam.  Jaka with a rolling head butt and Maluta with a splash at the same time for a near fall.  Maluta with a slam and kick followed by a back senton for a near fall.  .  JC with an Iris whip and Maluta with an elbow in the corner.  Chris and Vinny trip Maluta and pull him groin first into the post.  Chris tags in and he chops Maluta.  Chris gets a near fall.  Chris with punches to Maluta and he chokes Maluta in the ropes.  VInny chokes Maluta while Chris talks to the referee.  Jaka forces Vinny to let go.  Chris with a back elbow for a near fall.  Chris sends Maluta into the turnbuckles and punches him.  JC tags in and he punches Maluta.

JC with kicks in the corner.  Chris chokes Maluta while Jaka tries to help but the referee sends Jaka back to the apron.  JC with a rear chin lock.  Maluta with a jaw breaker to escape the hold.  Maluta with punches but JC with a boot and then he hits a Samoan drop and both men are down.  Chris tags in and he knocks Jaka off the apron.  Chris with an elbow drop and leg drop for a near fall.  Chris with a suplex on Maluta.  Chris with a punch and JC tags in and hits a DDT but Sean pops up and he hits an enzuigiri.  Jaka and CHris tag in and Jaka with forearms and chops.  Jaka with a German suplex.  Jaka with a splash and exploder for a near fall.  

Maluta tags in and Jaka with a kick and Maluta with a heel kick in the corner for a near fall.  JC is sent to the floor by Maluta.  Jaka tags back in and Vinny grabs Maluta by the leg and Jaka lets Chris get to the mat.  Chris with a rollup for a near fall.  The Metros with a 3D Codebreaker for a near fall.  JC punches Maluta and sends him to the mat.  JC and Chris set for a double team move but Chris kicks JC when Maluta moves.  Maluta with a super kick to Chris and Jaka gets Chris up for a Samoan drop and lungblower combination for the three count.

Winners:  The Island Kings

After the match, Ron Niemi interviews Sean Maluta and Jaka.  Ron asks about their quest for the FIP World Tag Titles.  Jaka asks if the people want to see them as the new FIP tag team champions.

Maluta says they might be a new tag team in FIP, but there is nobody more savage in that locker room than him and Jaka.  The FIP Tag Team Champions are what they want they will bring a ruckus until they get what they want.

Match Number Two:  Bryan Idol (with Tracy Nyxx) versus Bobby Flaco

Flaco with a crucifix for a near fall.  Flaco goes to the floor to play up to the crowd.  Flaco with a victory roll for a near fall and then he goes back to the floor to play up to the crowd.  Flaco goes for a spinrboard move but Idol with a forearm and he kicks Flaco.  Idol chokes Flaco from the floor and connects with an elbow.  Idol drops Flaco on the top rope.  Idol with a forearm and he tries for a suplex but Flaco blocks it and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Idol with a back breaker and he punches Flaco.  Idol chops Flaco and Flaco chops back.  Idol with forearms and he chokes Flaco.  Flaco with a springboard cross body and Idol goes to the floor to regroup.  Flaco with a double sledge off the apron but Idol sends Flaco into the guardrails.  Flaco sends Idol into the ring post.

Flaco chases after Tracy and Flaco kicks Idol when he gets in the way.  Idol goes for a half nelson suplex but Flaco counters with a snap mare.  Idol with a knee to knock Flaco off the apron.  Idol with knees to the midsection followed by a butterfly suplex into the turnbuckles.  Idol gets a near fall.  Idol with forearms in the corner.  Idol with a chop and elbow to the back of the neck.  Idol with an abdominal stretch on Flaco.  Flaco counters a power bomb into a Poisonrana. .Flaco with a forearm and chops in the corner.   Flaco with a Shiranui and a cutter for a near fall.  Flaco with a cutter and Idol goes to the floor.  Flaco goes up top and hits a cross body onto Idol.

Flaco sends Idol back into the ring and he hits a double jump cutter for a near fall.  Tracy tries to interfere when Flaco goes to the turnbuckles but he stops her.  Idol pushes the referee into the ropes and it crotches Flaco.  Tracy with a Doomsday Device for a near fall.  Flaco lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and Flaco with a cutter for a near fall.  Flaco goes to the turnbuckles and hits a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Flaco goes for a sprignboard move but Idol hits Flaco in a tender area.  Idol with a belly-to-back superplex for the three count.

Winner:  Bryan Idol

Ron Niemi interviews Idol after his victory but Idol decides to kiss Tracy.  Niemi asks about a two on one situation in the match.  Idol says he is the only thing that matters.  Idol says this is a special message to everyone in WWN, especially the people in the booker's pocket who stole money from another company.  He says this is his world and no one can stop him.  Idol says pro wrestling is about making dollars.  He says that is his Corvette in front.

Match Number Three:  Shine NOVA Championship Match: Natalia Markova versus W.O.A.D.

Markova attacks WOAD before the bell rings .

Markova with a Thesz Press once the bell rings.  Markova with punches and WOAD pushes Markova off.  WOAD goes to the floor and she stops Markova from hitting a suicide dive and pulls her to the floor.  Markova sends WOAD into the ring post.  Markova gets a near fall.  Markova with a head scissors take down but she misses a spinning heel kick into the corner.  Markova with a bulldog.  WOAD with a seated splash into the corner.  WOAD with elbows and crossfaces.  WOAD with an Irish whip but Markova with a cartwheel and drop toe hold.  Markova with a forearm and a reverse chin lock.  WOAD falls back and hits a splash for a near fall.  

Markova with kicks and WOAD catapults Markova into the ropes.  WOAD with a splash to the back and she gets a near fall.  WOAD with a power bomb for a near fall.  WOAD misses a shoulder in the corner and Markova gets a near fall with a rollup.  Markova misses a kick and does a split but WOAD with a seated splash for a near fall.  WOAD with a side head lock and forearms.  WOAD with forearms and Markova with kicks.  WOAD with a head butt.  Markova with forearms to the back and WOAD picks up Markova and hits a spinebuster.

Markova with hops and forearms.  Markova with round kicks and a thrust kick followed by a twisting X Factor for a near fall.  WOAD with a clothesline and Markova with an elbow.  WOAD with a spinebuster for a near fall.  WOAD gets a chair but the referee takes it from her.  Markova with a kick.  WOAD blocks an Irish whip and WOAD with an Irish whip.  WOAD with a rear view for a near fall.  Markova with forearms and WOAD with a head butt.  Markova with a face plant to counter a belly-to-back suplex.  Markova gets a near fall.  Markova gets another near fall.  WOAD with a choke slam and an Earthquake splash for a near fall.  WOAD goes back to the floor.

She gets the chair and brings it back into the ring.  THe referee takes it from WOAD.  WOAD with a forearm to the referee and she kicks the referee.

Winner:  Natalia Markova (by disqualification)

Other referees come out to hold their arms up at WOAD.  WOAD misses with the chair and Markova kicks the chair into WOAD's face.

After the match, Markova says she has had enough of that.  She knows that W.O.A.D. wants her title.  Since day one you have tried to injure me.  I have an offer for you.  You want this title?  Let's do an OCC Roadhouse Street Fight at Shine on September 19th.

We are told that Ivelisse will defend the Shine Championship against Allysin Kay in a steel cage match.

Match Number Four:  ACW Championship Match: August Artois (with Sean Davis) versus Sideshow

The bell rings and Artois goes to the floor.  Sideshow with a suicide dive and chop.  Sideshow with chops to the back.  Sideshow with a side slam onto the apron.  Artois with a kick and forearms followed by a punch.  Sideshow with a full nelson into a gourdbuster.  Sideshow kicks Artois in the corner.  Artois with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Sideshow with a forearm and Artois send Sideshow over the top rope to the floor.  Artois with an Asai Moonsault onto Sideshow.  Artois sends Sideshow into the ring post and apron.  Artois gets cookie sheets from under the ring and he hits Sideshow with it and Sideshow wants more so Artois oblides.  Sideshow hits Artois with a cookie sheet.

Sideshow grabs a chair and Artois and he sets it up in the aisle.  Artois with forearms and he hits Sideshow in the back with the chair.  Artois goes to the stage and he comes off but Sideshow throws a chair in Artois' face.  Sideshow goes to the back and he comes out with a table.  Artois hits Sideshow in the back with a double sledge.  Sideshow punches Artois and Sideshow hits Artois in the head with the chair.  Artois is on the table and Sideshow climbs the scaffolding and hits a splash through the table but Sideshow can only get a near fall.

Sideshow with punches and kicks as they go back to the ring.  Artois hits Sideshow with a kendo stick a few times.  Artois continues to hit Sideshow with the kendo stick and the cookie sheets.  A bloody Sideshow hits Artois with the kendo stick and he goes under the ring for another table.  Sideshow with a double sledge to the back and then he sends Artois into the guardrails.  Artois with a forearm to the back while Sideshow puts the table in the ring.  Artois sends Sideshow into the ring post.  Artois sets up the table in the corner.  Artois throws a cookie sheet at Sideshow.  Artois goes for a superplex but Sideshow gets under and he hits a super kick to the head.  Sideshow with a running drop kick to the head.

Artois with a rana that sends Sideshow into the chair wedged in the turnbuckles.  Artois sets up a table in the ring and then he kicks Sideshow.  Sideshow with punches and Artois with knees.  Artois with a Spanish Fly through the table.  Sean comes into the ring  and he pours thumbtacks in the ring.  Artois sets for a power bomb into the tacks but Sideshow counters with a reverse piledriver into the tacks for a near fall.  Sideshow spears Davis through the table.  Artois with a fireball to Sideshow and then he hits a reverse DDT for the three count.

Winner:  August Artois (retains championship)

Match Number Five:  FIP World Tag Team Championship Match: The Skulk (Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis) versus OAO (Snoop Strikes and Hunter Law)

Snoop and Gray start things off.  Gray with a side head lock while Snoop talks to the crowd.  They block hip tos attempts.  Snoop flaots over and hits a drop kick.  Gray floats over and hits a drop kick.  Snoop sends Gray to the mat and gets a near fall but Gray gets a near fall.  They go back and forth with near falls.  Law and Alanis tag in and Alanis knocks Snoop off the apron while Law does the same to Gray.  They exchange chops and Law wit a knee.  Snoop blocks a suplex from Alanis to Law and then Gray catches Alanis on a suplex attempt.  Alanis with a shoulder to law in th ecorner and then Gray with an elbow in the corner.  Alanis with a uranage back breaker and Gray with a kick for a near fall.  

Law with punches to Gray and he misses a kick.  Gray with a suplex and Alanis tags in.  Alanis with a back senton off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Alanis chops Law and Gray tags in.  Snoop tags in and hits a drop kick on Gray and gets a near fall.  Law with a near fall on Gray.  Law sends Gray into the turnbuckle and Snoop tags in.  Snoop with a chop to Gray.  Snoop with a Boston Crab on Gray and he says something to Alanis and the referee keeps him on the apron while Law double teams Gray with Snoop.

Gray gets to the ropes and Law tags in.  Gray with chops and Law with a knee and a front face lock.  Law with a chop and kicks.  Law with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Law with a La Magistral for a near fall.  Law with a waist lock and Gray with a victory roll for a near fall.  Law with a German suplex for a near fall.   Law traps the legs and tags in Snoop who hits a springboard splash to the back and Snoop gets a near fall.  Snoop with a front face lock.  Snoop with a neck breaker and then he tags in Law.  Law sends Gray into the turnbuckles.  Gray with a head scissors to send Law into the turnbuckles.  Alanis tags in and he chops and kicks Law and Snoop.  Alanis with a back breaker to Law.  Alanis with a kick and Gibson Driver for a near fall.  

Alanis runs into a boot in the corner.  Snoop drops down and Alanis goes to the apron.  Alanis with a shoudler abut Snoop catches Alanis and Law with a drop kick.  Snoop with a suicide dive to Alanis.  Gray trips Law and sends him to the floor.  Law sends Gray into the guardrails.  Snoop and Law go up top Snoop misses a frog splash and Alanis gets his knees up for Law's frog splash.  Alanis gets Snoop up and goes for a Burning Hammer gutbuster but Snoop blocks it.  Alanis with a TKO onto the top rope.  Law grabs Alanis' leg and Gray with a plancha over Alanis onto Law and Snoop.  Gray goes up top and they hit a suplex and cross body combination for a near fall.

Gray goes up top but Law crotches Gray.  Snoop with a crucifix bomb after Law hits a super kick but Alanis kicks out at two.  Law tags in and Snoop with a clothesline in the corner.  Law with a tornado DDT and Snoop with a springboard leg drop.  Law goes up top and hits a frog splash.  Gray breaks up the cover from the turnbuckles.  Gray tags in and Law with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Law almost super kicks Snoop but Gray pushes Law into Snoop.  Gray with a rollup for a near fall.  Law goes for a submission but Gray gets a near fall.  Alanis tags in as Gray is sent to the apron.  Alanis with a drop kick and then they hit an assisted DDT from the turnbuckles for the three count.

Winners:  The Skulk (retain championship)

After the match, Niemi interviews The Skulk.  Jaka and Sean Maluta come through the crowd and attack The Skulk.

Jaka gets Gray up and Maluta with a lungblower while Jaka hits a Samoan drop.

Jaka and Maluta hold the tag titles over their heads after the attack.

Match Number Six:  Anthony Greene versus Lucky Ali

They lock up and Greene backs Ali into the corner and gives a clean break but Ali pushes Greene to the mat.  They lock up and Ali with an arm bar.  Greene tries to reach for the ropes but Ali holds on.  Ali with a shoulder tackle and a wrist lock.  Ali with shoulders and an arm bar.  Ali with an Irish whip and Greene floats over and gives Ali an arm drag but Ali holds on and rolls through into a wrist lock.  Greene with punches and a chop.  Greene with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow.  Ali goes to the turnbuckles and Greene punches him in the midsection as he comes off.  Ali escapes a slam and he tries Greene followed by a drop kick.  Ali with a few neck breakers and he gets a near fall.  

Ali with a top wrist lock and Green with a reversal into a hammer lock.  Ali sends Greene to the floor to escape the hold.  Ali follows Greene to the floor.  Ali with a European uppercut.  Greene with chops to Ali.  Greene misses a chop and hits the ring post instead.  Ali with a chop.  Greene with a kick to Ali and Ali almost Irish whips Greene into the guardrails.  Greene with a hot shot onto the guardrails.  Greene sends Ali into the apron and then Greene goes up top and hits the twisting springboard cross body for a near fall.  Greene kicks Ali.

Greene kicks Ali in the corner.  Ali with a kick to Greene but Greene with a punch.  Greene punches Ali in the ribs.  Greene with a kick to the ribs.  Greene with knees to the midsection against the ropes.  Ali with a rollup for a near fall.  Greene with a kick and gourdbuster for a near fall.  Greene with a cravate.  Ali with punches and a sleeper and a drop kick.  Greene with a boot to the head and Ali backs Greene into the corner and sends Greene to the mat.  Greene misses a bronco buster and lands in the turnbuckles.   Greene sends Ali to the apron and he punches Ali.  Ali with a kick and Greene with an elbow on the apron.  Ali with a splash to the legs that catapult Greene in the ropes.  

Ali brings Greene back into the ring and connects with clotheslines and a slam.  Greene has a kick blocked and Ali with a suplex and he rolls through into a splash for a near fall.  Ali signals that it is over.  Greene with an Irish whip and a reverse exploder for a near fall.  Greene with a forearm and he tries for the Unprettier but Greene with a super kick.  Ali goes to the turnbuckles and misses an inward splash.  Greened goes for the Unprettier but Ali with a rollup for a near fall.  Greene sends Ali into the turnbuckles and hits More than Prettier for the three count.

Winner:  Anthony Greene

After the match, Niemi interviews Greene.  Greene says where people are making the mistake is they think Anthony Greene is here for a one shot.  He is here because this is the premiere promotion in Florida.  He says he is here for some championship gold.  All of the championships are incredibly prestigious and now they are looking an alternative.

Match Number Seven:  FIP Florida Heritage Championship Match: Troy Hollywood (with Snoop Strikes and Hunter Law) versus Azrieal

They lock up and Azrieal with a waist lock and Hollywood with a standing switch.  Azrieal with a wrist lock and Hollywood wit a reversal and snap mare.  Azrieal with a front face lock.  Hollywood gets to the ropes and Azrieal breaks the hold.  Hollywood with a wrist lock.  Azrieal with a leg sweep and an elbow drop followed by a reverse chin lock.  Hollywood wit a chop and elbows to the neck.  Hollywood with kicks in the corner.  Hollywood with an Irish whip but Azriael floats over and hits a Tiger Feint Kick in the corner.  Hollywood rolls to the floor.  Azrieal with a suicide dive attempt but Hollywood catches Azrieal.  Azrieal with a forearm.  Hollywood suplexes Azriael back into the ring and Azrieal hits a hanging DDT for a near fall.  Azrieal with a back elbow for a near fall.

Azrieal sends Hollywood into the turnbuckles and then Irish whips Hollywood and sends him into the turnbuckles.  Azrieal with a suplex and he holds on and rolls through into a second one.  Azrieal has a third suplex blocked and Hollywood sends Azrieal's back into the ropes.  Hollywood misses a knee off the apron but hits a super kick.  Hollywood drops Azriael on the apron.  Azrieal with a knee in the corner and he gets a near fall.  Hollywood with a kick in the corner followed by a slam.  Hollywood with an elbow drop for a near fall.  Hollywood with a clothesline and both men are down.  Hollywood with chops.  Azrieal kicks Hollywood and he climbs the turnbuckles and pulls Hollywood to the turnbuckles as well.  Azrieal with forearms to the back.

Azrieal is knocked off the turnbuckles and Hollywood tries for a superplex back into the ring but Azrieal with a cutter that drops Hollywood on the top rope.  Azrieal goes up to and hits a rana.  Azrieal with a flying boot into the corner for a near fall.  Azrieal with knees to the midsection and then he tries for a super kick but Hollywood blocks it and hits a flying knee.  Hollywood with a gourdbuster for a near fall.  Hollywood with a sunset flip for a near fall.  They go back and forth with near falls.  Hollywood with a kick and Azrieal responds with a clothesline that flips Hollywood but Azrieal can only get a two count.  Azrieal goes up top and Hollywood with a kick to the head while Law distracts Azrieal.  Hollywood sets for a superplex but Azrieal knocks Hollywood off the turnbuckles.  Hollywood with a kick and he goes to the apron when Azriieal ducks.  Azrieal with a shoudler and a sunset flip for a near fall.

Hollywood goes for a facebuster but Azrieal blocks it and he applies a Boston Crab.  :Law gets on the apron to distract the referee and Snoop pulls Hollywood towards the ropes.  Azrieal with a plancha but he misses Hollywood and lands on Snoop and Wlaw.  Hollywood misses a double sledge when Azrieal gets back into the ring.  Azrieal with an enzuigiri.  Hollywood with a kick and a Pedigree for the three count.

Winner:  Troy Hollywood (retains championship)

Ron Niemi interviews Troy Hollywood after the match and Anthony Greene comes to the ring and applauds Troy's performance.

Anthony says he gives them a ton of credit.  He says Snoop and Hunter are there for your champion, but where was Troy when you guys were wrestling for the tag titles?  Hunter, didn't you pin Troy Hollywood?  Snoop, you lost to Hollywood.  Where is your title shot and where is Snoop's rematch.  Greene says he won and where is his title match?  He says he is not worried about him.  He will get his Florida Heritage Title Match when he is ready, but you three have some issues to deal with.

Match Number Eight:  FIP World Championship Match: Jon Davis versus JD Drake

They lock up and Davis with a clean break.  They lock up again and Davis with a side head lock.  Drake with forearms and Davis with a shoulder tackle but Drake stays on his feet.  Davis with a shoulder tackle and Drake stays on his feet.  Drake with a side head lock and Davis trips Drake and then hits a shoulder tackle and follows with a side head lock take down.  Drake backs Davis into the corner and he teases a chop but Davis doesn't cover up and Drake with a chop.  Davis with a chop.  Davis and Drake continue the exchange.  They continue the exchange until Drake kicks Davis and sends him to the floor.  Drake holds the ropes open for Davis but then he backs up.

They lock up and Davis with a side head lock.  Davis with a shoulder tackle and a second one.  Drake rolls to the floor.  Davis with a side head lock take down.  Drake backs Davis into the ropes and Drake kicks Davis to the floor.  Drake misses a chop and Davis chops Drake.  Davis with more chops as Drake tries to get away from Davis.  Davis with more chops.  Davis with another chop.  Davis with one more chop and then he says he will do it again but Drake sends Davis against the ropes and hits a forearm on Davis.  Drake kicks Davis in the head.  Drake witih a Vader Bomb for a near fall.  Drake with a snap mare and he teases a kick to the back but he applies a reverse chin lock.

Drake with a revers atomic drop and a slam for a near fall.  Drake with a chop and Davis chops back.  Davis with more chops and Drake with a punch that sends Davis to the mat.  Drake with a splash for a near fall.  Drake sends Davis into the turnbuckles.  Drake with a chop in the corner.  Drake misses a chop and Davis chops back.  Drake kicks Davis and Davis goes for a sunset flip but Drake rolls through and connects with a knee for a near fall.  

Drake with a reverse chin lock.  Drake and Davis with chops and then Drake slaps Davis.  Davis slaps Drake and connects with forearms.  Davis with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot.  Davis with a clothesline.  Davis with a Yakuza Kick and belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Davis tries to get Drake up for Three Seconds Around the World but Drake escapes.  Davis with an enzuigiri followed by a uranage back breaker and flatliner for a near fall.  Drake with a back body drop.  Drake goes for a cutter but Davis blocks it.  Davis goes for a cutter and Drake blocks it.  Drake with a cannonball.  Drake goes for a moonsault and hits it but he can only get a two count.

Davis holds on to the ropes to block a DDT.  Davis is sent to the apron but Drake and Davis with a shoulder tackle.  Davis with a sunset flip but Drake rolls through and connects with a forearm.   Drake misses a kick and Davis with a rollup and knee.  Davis with a piledriver for the three count.

Winner:  Jon Davis (retains Championship)

After the match, Niemi interviews Jon Davis.  

Jon asks how many people have never been to a show before.  Jon says he has been fighting Drake for five years.  It never gets any easier.  This is the second World Title defense in as many weeks against Drake.  They are two of the best doing it today.  

Niemi asks Jon who his next opponent will be.  Jon says he does not care where you were born, where you were raised, what letters are on the avatar on the banner.  You will get beaten.
