Naomi officially returned to the WWE Smackdown brand last night. PWInsider.com broke on 7/19 that she had been moved to the brand.
The new John Cena film Vacation Friends, now streaming on Hulu, has a wink and a nod to Cena's run in WWE as the lead actors end up at a lucha libre event with Cena quipping "Anyone can do this" before one of the other characters ends up in the ring.
After taking a break last year due to COVID-19, Milwaukee's Crusherfest, celebrating the AWA legend will return this October with live music, wrestling, a special "Crusher Kielbasa" and more. If you've never seen the Crusher statue and are in the area, it is well worth visiting.
The A&E Biography specials produced earlier this year on a number of WWE stars will be released on DVD on 9/21. Lionsgate will release two separate DVDs. The first DVD will feature the A&E Biographies for Steve Austin, Booker T, Randy Savage and Roddy Piper. The second DVD will feature the A&E Biographies for Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and The Ultimate Warrior. There is no word yet whether the DVD releases will feature any extra content. A&E has previously released deleted scenes from the documentary on YouTube.
WWE's forthcoming New Day graphic novel, which will tell the story of the group's origin, has been pushed back to a June 2022 release.
