Impact Wrestling on AXS TV opened with clips of everything that's been going on as well as the Emergence PPV.
Sami Callihan vs. Chris Sabin.
Sabin attacked Callihan with a sliding kick and they fought on the floor. Back in the ring, Callihan cut him off with a powerbomb. The bell officially sounded and they battled back and forth with punches. Callihan went for a sliding kick to the floor but Sabin moved out of the way. Sabin drilled Callihan with a running kick and then a flip off the apron. They battled on the floor with Callihan catching a rana attempt and powerbombing him into the ring post.
Callihan worked him over and tossed Sabin back in the ring and stalked him in the ring with headbutts. Callihan locked on an Indian Death Lock variation, trying to force a submission. Sabin made it to the ropes, forcing a break. Callihan continued working over Sabin in the corner, placing him on the ropes. They battled back and forth on the ropes until Callihan was knocked to the mat and hit with a missile dropkick, a big boot and a tornado DDT for a two count.
The battle continued with Callihan nailing a piledriver for a two count. Sami went for the package piledriver but Sabin used a forward roll for a CLOSE two count. Sabin nailed an enziguiri and fought to get the Cradleshock for the pin.

Moose attacked but Eddie Edwards hit the ring and ran him off. Edwards and Callihan were left in the ring together looking warily on each other.
Gia Miller interviewed Taylor Wilde about her handicap match tonight. She requested the match. She didn't know her PPV match was going to be a three on one so she might as well take them all on.
They plugged this weekend's NWA PPVs.
Backstage, Eddie Edwards said they are done and even to Sami Callihan. He said going forward, no matter what, Callihan is to stay away from him and walked off. Callihan said, "What no hug?"
The NWA's Mickie James came to the ring. She said they are two nights away from making HERstory, not history. She is proud to head up NWA Empower with her advisors, Jazz, Madusa and Gaik Kim. The crowd chanted "Herstory." She thanked everyone in the Impact Zone and thanked Deonna Purrazzo for putting the Knockouts title on the line. They showed a video package on Deonna vs. Melina.
Deonna and Drama King Matt came to the ring. She asked Mickie how it feels to have her spotlight stolen from her. Deonna said the night is groundbreaking, the first all-women's PPV run by a woman. Purrazzo said she is excited to celebrate women's wrestling at the PPV but thinks Mickie is being a littl dishonest by pretending the match against Melina will be competitive. Mickie said Matt won't be there. She asked Deonna how confident she is knowing Matt isn't going to be there. She's been in the ring with Melina and Mickie knows what a hellcat is firsthand.
Deonna said perhaps she is underestimating Melina and we will see on Monday, but she doesn't have to wait for Monday to kick Mickie's ass and attacked her. Trey Miguel hit the ring and fought with Matt, hitting a flip dive to the outside. Mickie and Purrazzo brawled. Melina hit the ring and cleaned house on Deonna, who rolled out of the ring.
They aired "How to Be A Professional Wrestler" with Brian Myers teaching Sam Beale how to customize his gear like a pro wrestler. Beale thought the lesson would be how to react after losing a World title match. Myers ignored him. Beale kept questioning Myers.
Chris Bey vs. David Finlay
Bey went after Bey but Finlay caught him with a bunch of punches and overwhelmed him in the corner early on. They battle to the floor and back into the ring, where Bey gains control as they go tok commercial. When they return, Bey goes for a slam but Finlay escaped and nailed a series of forearm smashes. Bey catches him with a neckbreaker coming out of the corner and scored a two count. Bey continued the assault and locked on a sleeper. Bey scored creativity points with a cravate turned into a suplex variation for a two count. Bey stomped him and went for Art of Finesse but was shoved off the ropes to the floor.
Finlay nailed a pescado to the outside. He tossed Bey back into the ring and hit a Tracy Smothers back elbow off the ropes for a two count. He went for the uranage but Bey was able to reverse and nailed a series of strikes. Finlay surprised him with the uranage and scored a two count. Finlay nailed a spinning sideslam for another two count. Bey finally used the ropes to steal the win.

Rich Swann and Willie Mack, backstage, issued a challenge to The Good Brothers to defend the Impact Tag Team Championship.
They aired a Bound for Glory PPV promo for 10/23.
Backstage, X-Division Champion Josh Alexander was asked if he knew who his next challenger might be. He does but before he named it, he praised Jake Something for the fight he brought at the PPV. Josh issued a challenge to any former X-Division Champions who want to try him next week.
Impact Wrestling Champion Christian Cage made his way to the ring. He said he beat Brian Myers and now the new top contender is Ace Austin. Cage looked at the title and said that there's no way Austin is going to beat him for the title. Tommy Dreamer came out.
Dreamer said he was against the Kenny Omega-Don Callis relationship here and he even compromised his integrity, but he did so for the good of Impact Wrestling and the fans. He wanted to publicly state that if there was one person who cared about everyone in the back and the fans, it was Christian. He said if you want to think about sad things, we went seven years without Cage in the ring and without a real chance to say goodbye. Dreamer said that Cage has found the fountain of youth and is doing things the right way and doing it for the people. He thanked Cage for doing things the way he has done and for representing Impact the way it should be. They hugged.
Dreamer then said he doesn't deserve it and hasn't earned it, but wants to get in the ring with Cage one more time for the title. He hasn't earned it yet but just like Cage, he will outwork everyone and earn the shot. Dreamer went to leave when Ace Austin and Madman Fulton came to the ring. Austin said he is inevitable and he's going to make history as the youngest man to ever hold the Impact title when he wins its at Victory Road. On Dreamer's best day, he will never be a World Champion again. He said Cage is the champ and is making all the towns with a busy schedule like the old days but after the PPV, his schedule and his bag will be a lot lighter. Cage said that since he came out and talk a big game, he should stand on his toes so the fans can actually see him. Everyone started brawling. Dreamer and Cage ran them off. Obviously, a tag bout is coming.
The latest excellent promo from Violent by Design was next. Young said that because of Rhino they lost the Impact Tag Titles and their rematch. He cannot allow Rhino to drag them down anymore. There's only one answer to the sickness and that's violence. They will cleanse you in the holy waters of change. Great stuff.
Backstage, Ace Austin demanded a match with Tommy Dreamer next week to Scott D'Amore. Scott said if he wants him next week, no problem, but sometimes you have to give something to get something. If Dreamer wins, the PPV match becomes a three-way with Cage.
Taylor Wilde vs. The Influencers & Kaleb with A K
Wilde was worked over by Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood but tried to fight from behind. Wilde gained control and stomped on them in the corner but Kaleb grabbed her. Taylor nailed an Acid Drop off the ropes and he crashed in the corner atop of the Influencers. She drilled him for a two count.
They all grabbed Taylor but she kicked her way free and nailed Madison into Kaleb. She rolled up Rayne but left herself open for the Spotlight Kick and was pinned.

They worked over Taylor after the match. Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering hit the ring for the save.
Gia Miller interviewed Brandi Lauren about Melina vs. Deonna but Su Yung and Kimber Lee attacked and dragged off Brandi. Mean Gia made it out unscathed!
They showed footage of Petey Williams saving TJP from Maclin earlier in the night.
TJP was interviewed. Things didn't go the way he wanted it to. He said he doesn't need Petey. He has a partner, Fallah Bahh.
They aired Monty Brown vs. Christian Cage from 2006 to promote Impact+.
Backstage, Fallah Bahh said he owes Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans one because he lost at the PPV. Steelz said he does and she's done with him. He offered to take out Decay next week in a tag match so they can concentrate on the Knockouts Tag titles.
Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack
The Champions had control early with Karl Anderson working over Rich Swann. Swann and Mack took control and nailed some double team maneuvers with Mack scoring some two counts. Mack nailed an elbow but was caught and sent into the turnbuckles. Gallows tagged in but Mack took control of his arm. Swann tagged in and came off the top with a double axehandle off the ropes.
Undaunted, Gallows fired back with some big right hands and easily regained control. Gallows worked him over in the corner. Swann and Mack regained control briefly with Mack tagging in but again, he was cut off and kicked away in the corner. Anderson tagged in and whipped Mack across the ring. Mack caught him charging and popped Anderson up for an uppercut.
Swann made a hot tag and cleaned house with a series of combinations on Gallows then drilled Anderson with a double stomp and a rolling thunder splash for a close two count. Anderson nailed a spinebuster out of nowhere for another two count. They battled back and forth with Swann surprising him with the flash rollup for the pin.

Swann was attacked and set up for the Magic Killer but Mack returned to make the save. He worked over Anderson but was attacked by Gallows. They beat down Willie. They keep beating he and Swann down and powerbomb Mack through a table on the floor as the show goes off the air.
