In a bit of a surprise, there is no large scale production stage for Sunmerslam nor is there a Titantron style video screen beyond the usual ones there at Allegiant Stadium. We are told there is one old school aisle leading to the ring.
A good portion of the stadium, perhaps as much as 20%, is taped off in areas that traditionally would have held the larger scale production.
The roof of the stadium is closed and we are told that it's very cool, temperature wise, inside.
It is taking quite some time to get into the Stadium, in part because there is a no bag policy and anyone with bags have to check them in lockers across from the venue.
WWE is giving WWE logo towels out to the crowd as they enter.
For the first time ever, WWE has FedEx stationed at a PPV for fans who wish to ship their commemorative chairs home directly from the Event.
We are told there are some exclusive pieces of merchandise on sale at the show including a $100 Vince McMahon t-shirt.
DJ Valentino Khan is performing for the fans as they enter, playing a mix of WWE theme songs (including some classic themes such as the NWO and Steve Austin) as well as other pop songs.
Thanks to Terrelder, Jim Green and Eric Denton.
