WWE RAW REPORT: IMPROMPTU MATCHES AND IMPROMPTCEPTION MATCHES, RAW BUILDS TO SUMMERSLAM, IN THE PARK WITH REGGIE, AND BILL GOLDBERG SPEAKS FOR ALL OF US ABOUT HOW WE FELT ABOUT TONIGHT'S SHOW

By Richard Trionfo on 2021-08-16 23:00:00

We start off with a look back at last week's return of Randy Orton to Raw and the reunion of RK-Bro even though the RK part was not happy to see the Bro.

We are in San Antonio, Texas and your announcers are Byron Saxton, Jimmy Smith, and Corey Graves.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring and he has something to say even though he is dressed to wrestle (but that is what he wears 93 percent of the time).

Randy says people have been asking why did he give Riddle and RKO last week.  People says Riddle wanted to help you and be your friend.  Randy says therein lies the problem.  Randy says he doesn't need friends.  He doesn't need anybody. He would have beaten AJ Styles with or without Riddle.  I am a 14 time world champion.  I did it all by myself.  I don't owe anyone anything.  I don't owe anyone an explanation. I am Randy Orton.  I am the Viper.  I am the Apex Predator.  Raw is still my territory.  I proved that to AJ Styles last week and I will prove it tonight against Omos.

Omos, that man is not to be taken lightly.  He is a monster.  He is a force of nature.  He is an undefeated force of nature.  I have it on good authority that he is a bit of a jackass.  What have I gotten myself into?  Rabdy says he will hit him with the three most devastating letters in Sports Entertainment . . . R . . . K . . .

Bro plays over the arena as Riddle makes his way to the ring.

Riddle tells Randy he is right.  You don't have to explain yourself to anybody.  I know why you hit me with an RKO last week.

Randy says he doubts it.

Riddle says it took him a hot second and then he realized that Randy was teaching him.  Riddle says he was hitting RKOs in Randy's honor but I wasn't doing it right.  You gave me one to teach me a lesson.  I learned my lesson and maybe we can give this team thing another chance.  You need me tonight in my corner.  Let's bring back RK-Bro.

AJ Styles' music plays and he makes his way to the ring with Omos.

AJ suggests RK-No.  I don't think anybody cares why you RKOed Riddle and you can do it again if you want to.  How about doing it to yourself if it is possible.  Last week meant nothing.  You proved nothing.  If it wasn't for Riddle, you wouldn't have won anything.  No one will be able to save your tonight from Omos.  He will defang the Viper.  Why should Omos have all the fun.  I am tired of Riddle and everyone else saying "Bro.'  AJ says he wants to break Riddle's jaw so it has to be wired shut.

Riddle accepts and he says when Randy is in his corner, he is unstoppable.  Riddle says to come to the ring and face the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment . . . R. . . K . . . Bro.

We go to commercial.

We take a look at Charlotte Flair getting involved in the match between Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley.

Nikki is in the Gorilla Position and Sarah asks her for her thoughts on facing Rhea Ripley once again.

Nikki says she has been thinking about Rhea, Charlotte, and SummerSlam.  She says she has to look at herself and she has to remember she wears this outfit for herself and everyone like her.  To have the confidence to try to achieve, you have it in you.  You need to bring it out and you can be almost a superhero.  Tonight she has the confidence in herself that she can beat Rhea and hold on to the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Randy Orton not showing any love for Riddle during his match, even though he said he wouldn't be there for him in the first place.

We see Riddle walking with his scooter in teh back and Kevin Patrick ambushes him and asks about the rejection.  Riddle says he didn't give up on RK-Bro when Randy was gone or when he was given an RKO last week.  Riddle says he is sad now.

Match Number Two:  Nikki A.S.H. versus Rhea Ripley in a Non Title Match

Before the match can start, Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring to sit in the chair that was conveniently put next to the announce table.

Nikki with a waist lock and Rhea with a standing switch.  Nikki goes for the leg and Rhea picks her up and tosses Nikki aside.  Rhea gets Nikki on her shoudler but Nikki gets to her feet and hits an Acid Drop.  Nikki with boots to Rhea and then hits a cross body off the apron.

Nikki poses in front of Charlotte and we go to commercial with Charlotte wondering what Nikki is looking at.

We are back and Nikki gets a near fall.  Rhea with a drop kick.  Rhea goes for a delayed vertical suplex and hits it for a near fall.  Rhea with a bear hug.  Nikki with La Mistica.  Rhea blocks an Irish whip attempt and Nikki with a rollup for a near fall.  Nikki with kicks to Rhea and she goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado DDT and Nikki gets a near fall.  Rhea blocks a monkey flip and she puts Nikki on the turnbuckles.  Nikki with a cross body but Rhea catches her and hits a suplex and bridges for a near fall.  Nikki gets a near fall with a rollup.

Rhea with a boot to the chest and she follows with RipTide for the three count.

Winner:  Rhea Ripley

After the match, Charlotte gets up from the announce table and mocks Nikki's performance.

Nikki A.T.T.A.C.K.S. Charlotte and then Charlotte escapes into the ring and Rhea with a clothesline.  Rhea kicks Charlotte and then Nikki sends her to the floor.

We take a look at Drew McIntyre versus Baron Corbin from last week and the appearance of Jinder Mahal and his sacrificial lambs.

Jinder is in the back with Veer and Shanky.  He says he has given them the chance of a lifetime.  He brought htem to Raw to learn under his knowledge tree.  Drew is still here and when I come close, he pulls out his sword.  Tonight is the last chance to take his precious sword.  Without his sword on Saturday, he will crumble at my feet.
