WWE announced today that they will make their official debut in the newest arena to be built in the New York City area, the UBS Arena, on Monday 11/29 for a Monday Night Raw taping.
Built specifically as a home for the New York Islanders, the UBS Arena is in Elmont, NY, just North of Hempstead (the home of the Nassau Coliseum), a short drive from Queens and Brooklyn. The venue had can hold upwards of 18,853, depending on production and will officially open on 11/21 for an Islanders game.
Once opened, that will give WWE four venues in the NYC Metropolitan area to run with Madison Square Garden, The Nassau Coliseum, The Barclay Center and The UBS Arena.
