Big Japan Pro Wrestling held a show today in Yokohama.

Pro Wrestling NOAH

Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced a dark match for its show on August 15 in Kawasaki to determine Kazunari Murakami’s replacement in the upcoming N-1 Victory.

Murakami will miss its the tournament due to a left sciatic nerve injury. Kendo Kashin versus Shuhei Taniguchi will take place half an hour before the start of the show, and the winner will compete in B block against Daiki Inaba, Kenoh and Masaaki Mochizuki.

The updated card is:

Inaba versus Masa Kitamiya has been moved to the opening match of the night, giving Taniguchi more time to recover before he teams with Akitoshi Saito, Masao Inoue and Mohammed Yone against Junta Miyawaki, Kai Fujimura, Kinya Okada and Yasutaka Yano (which was scheduled to open the show with Inaba versus Kitamiya afterwards).

Dragon Gate

Dragon Gate has announced the full card for its The Gate of Adventure 2021 tour shows on August 14 in Fukuyama Big Rose and August 15 in Acros Fukuoka.

New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling will hold its Resurgence show tomorrow in The Torch at L.A. Coliseum, Los Angeles, California.

The full card is:

• Alex Coughlin vs. Karl Fredericks
• Clark Connors, Ren Narita and TJP vs. Fred Rosser, Rocky Romero and Wheeler Yuta
• “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, Danny Limelight, Jorel Nelson, JR Kratos and Royce Isaacs vs. Brody King, Chris Dickinson, Fred Yehi, Lio Rush and Yuya Uemura
• Moose vs. Tomohiro Ishii
• Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Jon Moxley and ‘X’
• NEVER Openweight Championship: Jay White (c) vs. David Finlay
• IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship: Lance Archer (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

Opening the show is the third bout of Alex Coughlin’s challenge match series. So far, Coughlin has lost to PJ Black (formerly known as Justin Gabriel in WWE) and Impact Wrestling’s Josh Alexander.

The third match will be Yuya Uemura’s first match since traveling to America on excursion. He will team with Brody King, Chris Dickinson, Fred Yehi and Lio Rush against “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, Danny Limelight, Jorel Nelson, JR Kratos and Royce Isaacs.

Impact’s Moose will make his New Japan debut against Tomohiro Ishii in the fourth match. They previously faced off at a Ring of Honor show in 2016, a bout Ishii won.

For those hoping Shota Umino is Jon Moxley’s mystery partner against Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson in the fifth match, New Japan confirmed on July 31 that he is unable to attend the show due to international travel restrictions.

Jay White will attempt his first defense of the NEVER Openweight Championship against David Finlay in the sixth match.

Finlay snapped a 0-10 losing streak against White in the quarterfinals of the New Japan Cup in March. He was scheduled to challenge White for the title at the first night of Wrestle Grand Slam on May 15 in Yokohama Stadium, but the show was cancelled and neither man has wrestled in Japan since.

In the main event, Lance Archer will attempt his second defense of the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi.

New Japan will also hold its thirteenth Summer Struggle tour show tomorrow in White Ring. The full card is:
