HOW TO IDENTIFY HIGH-QUALITY CBD GUMMY BEARS

Who doesn’t love gummy bears? There’s something incredibly satisfying about gummy candy. When you can get CBD-infused gummy candy, that’s even better.

Ever since cannabidiol (CBD) became a popular way to manage stress and anxiety, businesses have been selling CBD-infused snacks, candy, and beverages. The most popular CBD-infused candy, of course, is the gummy bear.

Gummy bears never disappoint

Originally made from gum arabic, gummy bears have seen many evolution over the years. For example, today’s gummies are made from a base of edible gelatin and come in all kinds of flavors that go beyond the usual. You can get gummy bears in flavors like hot cinnamon, licorice, root beer float, and even peanut butter. However, the best gummy bear evolution is CBD-infused.

CBD gummy bears are a natural way to get relief from stress, anxiety, and insomnia. Many people also use CBD for pain relief. Regardless, if you’re going to start using CBD gummies, you need a plan for identifying the high-quality brands so you don’t get ripped off.

To avoid getting stuck with a bad product, here’s how to identify a good brand and verify their product is high-quality.

1. Look for lab results on the company’s website

Reputable companies lab test all of their product batches to ensure quality control. Lab tests should include CBD and THC levels along with various terpenes and contaminants like pesticides. Lab tests are the only way you can verify the purity and quality of a product.

However, don’t just take every lab report at face value. If you don’t see the company’s name on the lab report, the header has been cropped out, or if the image looks manipulated, call the lab to find out if they test for that specific company.

If all else fails, do a Google search for the batch and accreditation number to see if it matches the company you’re considering buying from. Scam companies often steal lab reports and cut off the header so that nobody can recognize where it came from. They also remove the batch numbers and dates so the lab results look current.

2. Look for CO2 extraction

There are different ways to extract CBD from industrial hemp. Supercritical CO2 is the best method. This method eliminates the use of solvents, which can contaminate the final CBD product.

Avoid CBD products extracted with butane, hexane, or pentane because the process creates an environment for bacteria to thrive in the oil.

3. Try different brands

Sometimes you can only do enough research before you have to open up your wallet and try a product. Find at least three different companies that sell CBD gummy bears and try each product. Try each product for at least one full week.

If you only feel better after you’ve started on the third product, it might be because of a cumulative effect. Circle back around and try each product again just to give it a fair shot. Then you can stick with whichever product you feel works best.

4. Read customer reviews

Customer reviews can tell you plenty about the quality of a CBD product. However, you have to read reviews carefully. Shady companies pay people to write reviews, but these fake reviews are fairly easy to identify.

When reading reviews, look for comments that seem natural and not copied and pasted. Look for proper English, proper punctuation, and separated paragraphs. Most people just type their thoughts as they come to mind.

If you see reviews that are similar or duplicated, those are probably paid reviews and you shouldn’t waste your money on that company’s products. If a company is paying for reviews, it means their product isn’t as good as they claim.

5. Make sure the company follows all FDA regulations

FDA regulations aren’t easy to follow, but it’s part of doing business. Make sure the company you buy from is following FDA regulations. For example, their CBD extractions should contain no more than 0.3% THC and should be extracted from industrial hemp, not marijuana.

When a company adheres to FDA regulations, it means they have integrity and want to play by the rules. Companies with integrity are more likely to produce high-quality CBD gummy bears.

Despite many businesses popping up to get in on the CBD cash flow train, there are legitimate, reliable companies that sell high-quality products.
