Notable by his absence was Eita, who Dragon Gate has confirmed will miss upcoming shows due to sharing the ring with a Pro Wrestling NOAH competitor who has since tested positive for COVID-19.

The competitor in question is YO-HEY, who Eita and NOSAWA Rongai teamed with against Atsushi Kotoge, Daisuke Harada and Junta Miyawaki on first night of NOAH’s two-day Departure event two days ago. Yesterday, NOAH announced YO-HEY had tested positive for COVID-19.

Dragon Gate will hold its second The Gate Of Adventure 2021 tour show tomorrow in Nagoya Congress Center. The partially announced card is:

• Dragon Kid and YAMATO vs. H.Y.O and Kaito Ishida
• Dragon Dia, Kota Minoura and La Estrella vs. Kzy, Susumu Yokosuka and U-T
• Open the Brave Gate Championship: Kagetora (c) vs. SB KENTo

Kagetora will attempt his first defense of the Open the Brave Gate Championship against SB KENTo in the main event tomorrow.

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced Yuya Koroku will miss its show on August 9 in Morioka due to poor physical condition.

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has announced two new matches for its show on August 22 in Osaka.

First, Daisuke Masaoka will face Masashi Takeda in a deathmatch. Second, Kenji Fukimoto and Minoru Fujita will face two mystery opponents in a hardcore tag team match.

Also scheduled to appear are Brahman Kei, Brahman Shu, Dragon Libre, Dyna Mido, GENTARO, Idea, Jun Kasai, Kamui, Kengo, Kenshin Chikano, Mammoth Sasaki, Rekka, Shigehiro Irie (which will mark his return to the company after 10 years), Takahiro Katori, Takashi Sasaki, Tomoya Hirata, Toru Sugiura, Toshiyuki Sakuda, Violento Jack and Yuya Susumu.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling will hold a show tomorrow in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.
