This week's Impact Wrestling opened with a look at everything that took place last week on Impact on AXS as well as the Homecoming 2021 PPV.
Chris Bey with Jay White vs. Juice Robinson with David Finlay
They went right at each other. Bey ended up dumping Juice to the floor and followed him down to the outside. He went to send Juice into the apron but it was reversed. Bey jumped onto the apron and swung around, kicking Robinson. He sent Juice back into the ring and hit a bodypress into the ring for a two count.
Bey nailed some stiff kicks to the chest, then followed up with some chops. Robinson cut him off and held him up for a delayed vertical suplex but Bey transitioned himself onto Juice's back and cinched in a sleeper. White jumped on the apron, which made Finlay get up as well and as the referee argued with them, Robinson was trapped in the hold. He finally backed Bey into the corner, breaking the submission and nailed a cannonball.
Bey came back with a Famouser for a two count. The crowd chanted for Impact. Bey went for a moonsault but Juice pulled his knees up and nailed a spinebuster. Juice was too beat to immediately capitalize. Finlay tried rally the fans. Juice whipped Bey into the corner and set up for another cannonball, nailing it. Juice nailed a series of strikes. Jay White got on the apron but Finlay pulled him own and they brawled to the entrance aisle, where Finlay had control over him.
Inside the ring, Bey used the distraction to nail the Ultimate Finesse and score the pin.

After the match, White offered Bey a Bullet Club shirt, making him an official new member.
Gia Miller interviewed Kenny Omega, The Good Brothers and Don Callis. Callis said you put anyone in the ring with them and asked what you think is going to happen. Omega said they are just scraping the bottom of the barrel and looking for anyone to be a white knight. Violent By Design showed up. Business picks up! Eric Young said they are activating their Tag Team title rematch clause at the Emergence PPV.
After a commercial, Fire N' Flayva were interviewed about their match tonight. Kiera said they've had some friction and some losses but they are back on the same page. She said that after Tasha Steelz lost at Homecoming, she understands the importance of a good tag team partner. Steelz said she knows what a good partner looks like. They promised to take out Jordynne and Rachael tonight.
Matt Striker and D'Lo Brown ran down the lineup for tonight's Impact. They recapped the Homecoming PPV, which is available for VOD orders at ImpactPlus.TV.
Matt Rehwoldt was in the ring after the lights went out and returned. He introduced himself as The Drama King. The crowd chanted he still sucked. He said that he shared his spotlight as the Homecoming King with his Queen, Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo made her way to the ring. The crowd chanted, "No one likes you" as they basked in the ring. Purrazzo said that was her coronation and she can wait all day. She said that she's been racking up accolades since coming to Impact and ran them all down. She was always the uncrowned Queen but now they're officially King and Queen.
The NWA's Mickie James came out. Purrazzo asked if they were in the Twilight Zone as once again, Mickie is stealing her spotlight. Mickie said that she knew Purrazzo would think that but she knew Purrazzo would win and must be so excited to put another jewel in her crowd at NWA Empower. James said that they only had a handshake deal, so she put together a contract for Purrazzo to put the Impact title on the line at the Empower PPV. Purrazzo said she's been there, done that. She has no need to face the unknown again and she needs to know who her opponent is. James said her opponent is here tonight and out came Melina Perez, making her Impact debut. The crowd popped. Melina looked good. They faced off and Purrazzo nodded. James said that she knows who her opponent is and asked her to sign the deal. Deonna did.
Purrazzo said they have never met before and said it was an honor to meet her but at Empower it will be an honor to defeat her. Melina said that she won the Knockouts title on her first try. Melina said she's going to do the same thing at Empower.
Gia Miller interviewed Taylor Wilde and asked her where she's been the last few months. She said she was just getting her wings back under her but as a Canadian, she has to cross the border and someone called in and said she was a suspicious person. She was told the person who called about her was Kelvin with a K, so she took out Kaleb and now wants Tenille Dashwood next week.
Somewhere, Kimber Lee told "Mother" (Su Yung) that she wanted to bring her the soul she desired and asked for permission.
Jake Something vs. Rohit Raju with Shera vs. Trey Miguel vs. Daivari - Winner will become new top contender to X-Division
Something sent Daivari to the floor immediately. Rohit nailed a dive onto them. Trey hit a moonsault to the floor onto everyone. Daivari went for one but Miguel nailed a cutter. Raju nailed a leaping kick on the apron. Something speared all of them as they went to commercial. When they returned, Daivari and Raju doubleteamed Something and worked him over. Something went to toss Raju but in mid-air, Raju nailed Daivari with a DDT. Miguel nailed a Pele Kick. Everyone battled. Something nailed a sit-down powerbomb on Trey but Raju broke up the pinfall attempt. Raju drilled him with a knee strike and went to rebound off the ropes only to be pulled out by Daivari.

Backstage, Rohit Raju was angry that Jake had won the match. Raju said he had the match won and should be challenging for the title. He tossed a bag off camera, where it hit Matt Cardona. Cardona and Chelsea Green stepped up to Raju. Cardona challenged him to a match.
Gia Miller announced Jake Something will challenge Josh Alexander at Emergence. Alexander said he earned his title the right way and he was looking forward to facing him. Daivari showed uo and told Alexander he was lucky he wasn't facing him because Daivari would be the new champion. Alexander asked him if that was right and said he wants to fight, they can fight right now. Daivari said if he wanted to fight, put the title up. Alexander said if he beats him next week, he'll be in line for a shot. Daivari said he was going to Scott D'Amore to make sure that happens.
Fire N' Flayva vs. Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering
Grace started off strong with Steelz, nailing a big spinebuster for a two count. Rachael tagged in and was whipped into Steelz. Grace dove off her partners to nailed a splash. Ellering nailed a legdrop and several back senton splashes, scoring a near fall.
Grace place Steelz on the top for a muscle buster but Steelz escaped and tagged out to Kiera Hogan. Grace advanced in the corner but was cut off. Hogan hit a hard, fast dropkick in the corner and used a head scissors to choke Grace. Hogan nailed several kicks. Steelz tagged back in and cinched in a side chinlock. Grace tried to fight her way out with elbows but was nailed Steelz. Hogan and Steelz went for a double suplex but Grace reversed it and went for the hot tag.
Ellering hit the ring and cleaned house on Hogan and Steelz. Grace nailed a Vader Bomb. Ellering nailed a legdrop off the ropes but Steelz broke up the pinfall. Steelz was dumped rudely to the floor. Hogan nailed a superkick on Ellering, who kicked up at the last second. Hogan called for Steelz to help set up a move but Steelz was knocked off the ropes. Ellering and Grace double-teamed Hogan and scored the pin.

Tasha Steelz was fuming over the loss as Hogan recovered. Steelz glared at her partner when a woman appeared and drilled Hogan with a big boot to the face. D'Lo Brown immediately identified her as Savannah Evans, who is from the Carolinas and was trained by George South. Evans grabbed Hogan and killed her with a Samoan Drop. Steelz stood over Hogan before walking out.
Gia Miller interviewed Kazarian. He said he's not here because of his past but because he's on the hunt for the Elite and it brought him to Impact. He said that he was part of building the company with a lot of other names but that was yesterday and he's worried about today. He said Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards have to settle their issues elsewhere. Tonight is about ripping out the heart of the Elite.
Violent by Design knocked on Scott D'Amore's office. They wanted their title shot. Scott said contractually the shot is theirs, but another team has beaten them. It will be a three-way with Rich Swan and Willie Mack.
Steve Maclin vs. Jah-C
Jah-C was billed from Minneapolis. Maclin attacked him immediately when he had his back turned. Maclin worked him over, stomping away on Jah-C in trhe corner. Maclin sent him into the corner and drilled him with a big elbow and stiff stomp to the head. He smashed Jah-C into the buckles and stomped him down. Maclin tied him to the tree of woe and began jawjacking him. He splashed him in the corner and dragged Jah-CA to the center. Maclin covered him for a two count but pulled Jah-C up. Maclin nailed a series of rapid-fire elbows but again pulled him up as the referee began counting the pinfall. Maclin argued with referee Brian Hebner. Maclin nailed the tombstone driver and scored the pin.

Maclin kept stomping away at Jah-C after the bell. He grabbed a chair but Petey Williams hit the ring and nailed several suplexes. He teased a Canadian Destroyer but grabbed a steel chair. Maclin slowly backed up out of the ring and exited backwards, keeping his eye on Williams every step of the way.
Tenille Dashwood's latest edition of All About Me was next. Kaleb was in a neck brace from the beating Taylor Wilde gave him. The "host" was Dr. Ross Forman. He asked Kaleb about his symptoms. Kaleb said his neck hurt. Scott D'Amore showed up and dismissed Ross, then joined the show. Tenille assumed he was going to announce Taylor Wilde was fired but Scott said he wasn't. He said that Taylor made some substantial allegations against them. Scott said the investigation are lengthy and costly, so Taylor will drop the allegations for a match with Tenille Dashwood. Scott made it for next week.
AEW & Impact Wrestling Champion Kenny Omega & Impact Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs. Sami Callihan & Eddie Edwards & Kazarian
Everyone brawled in and around the ring. Callihan tossed Omega into the ring and they ran the bell. Sami went for a piledriver but Gallows grabbed his leg. Omega nailed him but Callihan caught him for a suplex. Kazarian tagged in and nailed a series of leaping forearms on Omega. Kazarian nailed a springboard legdrop for a two count. He was nailed from behind by Gallows, allowing Omega to go on the attack. Omega sent Kazarian into the buckles as they went to commercial.
After they returned, Team Omega continued to beat down Kazarian. Gallows worked him over. The Good Brothers whipped him into the corner but Kazarian tried to fight his way out. Kazarian finally made the tag on Edwards, who sent Gallows over the top and went on the attack against Karl Anderson. Edwards nailed the rapid-fire chops in the corner. Edwards went for a top rope rana but Omega grabbed Anderson's foot so Edwards hit the move but wasn't able to pull Anderson down with him. Omega tagged in and drilled Edwards in the head before nailing a big elbowdrop. Gallows tagged in and used his power to enforce his will with some big headbutts. Gallows nailed another suplex and cinched in a side chinlock. Edwards nailed a jawbreaker but was almost immediately clubbed down with a shotgun elbow. Gallows slammed him with authority and tagged out. The Elite nailed a triple splash on Edwards for a two count after knocking his partners off the apron.
Omega told Anderson to finish him off. Anderson went for a Bronco Buster but missed. Edwards went to make the tag but Gallows pulled Kazarian off the apron and attacked him. Gallows continued to batter Edwards, who came back with a leg lariat for a two count.
Callihan finally made the hot tag and stomped the hell out of Omega. Gallows nailed him with a big boot. Eddie drilled him but Anderson took him out. Kazarian DDT'd Anderson but left himself open to an Omega V-Trigger. The Elite nailed a series of running splashes on Callihan. They nailed him with a triple-combination double neckbreaker and suplex but Callihan kicked up at the last second. Kazarian nailed a Cactus clothesline on Gallows. Edwards tagged in and went for a Tiger Driver but Anderson rolled through and nailed a spinebuster. The crowd chanted and rallied Edwards.
Eddie avoided the Gun Stun but was snatched by Omega. He escaped and nailed Anderson with the Blue Thunder Bomb. Callihan attacked Omega and nailed him with a piledriver on the apron. Edwards nailed the Boston Knee Party on Anderson and scored the pin.

After the match, Omega held onto his clavicle as Don Callis checked on him.
Edwards and Callihan looked at each other warily before Sami went to the back.
Edwards celebrated in the ring but was attacked from behind by W. Morrisey. Morrisey grabbed him for a big powerbomb and stood over Edwards as they went off the air.
