NWA POWERRR TV REPORT

Welcome to week 2 of the NWA Champions Series.  After one week of action, the scores are as follows:

Team Da Pope and Velvet Sky: 10 points

Team Aron Stevens and Tarren Tyrell: 5 points

Team Kamille and Austin Idol: 5 points

Team Nick Aldis and Melina: 0 points

Of course Dokken welcomes us with Into The Fire.  Would it be Powerrr without it?  Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Velvet Sky welcome us.  We have a HUGE 4 way with 7 points on the line later tonight.  

Kenzie Page (Team Kamille and Idol) vs. Lady Frost (Team Stevens & Terrell)

Lockup, Frost grabs some hair and the ref breaks it up. Another lockup, armdrag by Page.  Knee to the gut by Frost, she stomps down on Page.  Frost with kicks in the corner and she chops away at Page.  Snap mare by Frost. Kneedrop to the gut by Frost.  Sleeper by Frost, Page elbows out of the headlock but Frost is all over her.  Chop by Frost, Page shoves her away.  Fisherwomans suplex for 2 by Frost.  Page fires away but Frost with a kneelift. BIG shouldertackle by Frost.  Forearms by Page but Frost with a spin kick and a moonsault for 2.  Frost pulled her up.  That's a mistake.  Page with a small package for the pin.

WINNER: Kenzie Page (5 more points for Kamille and Idol)

Melina has replaced Velvet Sky at the booth.

The Masked Mystery Man (Team Aldis and Melina) vs. Crimson (Team Pope and Velvet Sky)

Lockup, Mystery Man shoves him off.  Mystery Man with a headlock and a shoulderblock.  Crimson misses a clothesline but hits a back elbow for 1.  He's going for the mask. Crimson stomps him in the corner.  Crimson with chops.  I hear the Mystery Man has quite the ego.  Suplex by Crimson for 1.  Crimson with knees to the back and he slaps on a headlock.  Mystery Man (MM) elbows out. I really like the fact that teammates are at ringside cheering their guys/gals on.  Fallaway Northern Lights by MM into a rear chinlock.  MM with elbows.  Chops by MM into forearms to the back.  Exploder by Crimson for 2. MM fires away at the midsection.  Death Valley Driver by Crimson.  Action spills to the outside and Crimson fires away. Bodyslam on the concrete by Crimson.  Crimson throws MM in the ring but MM with an elbow.  Headbutt and a top rope elbow by Crimson for 2.  MM with a takedown into a 1/2 crab. Crimson pounds away at the knee and the bell rings.

RESULT: Time limit draw (both teams score 2 points)

Alternates fatal 4 way for 7 points (the team that gets pinned will LOSE 3 points): Sal Rinauro (Team Kamille and Idol) vs. Jordan Clearwater (Aron and Tarryn) vs. Jeremaih Plunkett (Aldis and Melina) vs. Colby Corino (Pope and Velvet)

NWA President William Patrick Corgan has joined the booth

• Corino gets chopped and rolled up by Clearwater for 2.
• Plunkett fires away at Clearwater.  Colby kicks Clearwater
• Colby and Plunkett drop elbows on Clearwater
• Clearwater blocks a suplex as long as he can but finally succumbs
• Colby and Plunket continue to work over Clearwater
• Sal Rinauro is down
• Frog splash by Corino, Plunkett pulls him off
• Clearwater showing signs of life as he fights back.
• Sal off the top and he and Clearwater face off
• Clearwater and Sal hit bulldogs and then square off. Sal with a stunner
• Jordan with a spinbuster on Sal for 2
• Colby with a standing moonsault for 2 on Sal
• Plukett DDT's Corino for the pin.

WINNER: Jeremiah Plunkett (7 points for Aldis/Melina, Pope/Velvet lose 3 points)

JR Kratos (Team Austin and Kamille) vs. Tyrus (Team Stevens/Terrell)

Odd mix with Stevens being Kratos' partner and Idol being Tyrus' manager.  Shoulder block, neither man budges.  Double clothesline, neither man budges.  Lockup, clean break in the corner.  Lockup, Tyrus with an armdrag.  Go behind into forearm smashes by Kratos.  Kratos stomps him in the corner. Referee catches Aron Stevens doing something, cameras didn't pick it up, and ejects him from ringside.  Tyrus now applying all his weight onto Kratos' neck.  Tyrus eats a boot off of a corner charge.  Clothesline for 1 by Kratos into a rear naked choke.  Kratos with knee and elbow strikes, Tyrus fires back.  Tyrus with a clothesline and a big elbow drop for the pin.

WINNER: Tyrus (5 points for team Stevens and Terrell)

Final Round 1 Match: Slice Boogie (Team Aldis & Melina) vs. Jax Dane (Team Pope & Velvet Sky)

Little pushing and slapping into a Boogie headlock.  Dane with a body block and down goes Slice.  Eye poke by Boogie, Dane blocks a piledriver.  Two kneelifts by Slice but a fallaway belly to belly by Dane, Boogie regroups on the floor. Boogie with a choke on the rope into a draping legrop.  Elbow drop by Slice, he chokes him on the rope.  Elbows by Boogie.  Rude Awakening by Boogie for 1.  Boogie with stomps into a front facelock.  Slice with a dropkick to the leg for 2.  Boogie applies a sleeper.   Dane elbows out and hits a pair of headbutts.  They exchange uppercuts.  Bearhug into a belly to belly by Dane.  Dane misses a charge but backdrops out of a piledriver.  Big Lariat by Dane and he scores the pin.

WINNER: Jax Dane (5 points for Pope and Velvet)

Round 1 Final Totals:

Team Pope & Velvet Sky: 14

Team Kamille & Austin Idol: 10

Team Aron Stevens & Tarren Terrell:10 (eliminated from the series)

Team Nick Aldis & Melina: 9 (eliminated from the series)
