MLW BATTLE RIOT III REPORT: WHICH OF THE FORTY EARNED A TITLE MATCH?, CESAR DURAN MAKES HIS PRESENCE FELT, AND MORE (THE YOUTUBE VERSION)

We being with a video package explaining the rules of the Battle Riot and that the winner of Battle Riot earns a World Title Match.

We are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Rich Bochinni and Jared St. Laurent.

Cesar Duran makes his way to the ring.

He says he has been told that this place is historic. He says he has been told that this city understands lucha libre. He says he has been told that this city could be a good place to build a lucha temple. But, I think all that is caca de la vaca.

You are a bunch of impostors because I don’t hear you. Duran welcomes back his believers and he wants to know where they are.

He says his reputation for super lucha and violence is second to none. I think you are familiar with my work so show it to me. I promoted the best luchas in the century. I introduced you to the best luchadores in the sport today. I created the most innovative matches of the century. I reached an agreement by MLW where my company Azteca Underground will promote fights for MLW.

There is more. I have made a deal with Court Bauer to be your matchmaker in MLW. He asks what match does his believers want.

He says he thinks he has an idea.

Injustice of Myron Reed and Jordan Oliver make their way to the ring.

Jordan takes the mic and he welcomes El Jefe but Duran takes the mic back.

Duran says this better be good because you don’t interrupt him without consequences. Duran wants to know ‘Who the f***” are you.

Reed says you have the Young GOAT Myron Reed and the Young Legend Jordan Oliver. We are out here for one reason and you know that reason. We want a shot at the tag titles. We want Los Parks and we know you can make it happen.

There is a countdown on the CourtTron and . . .

LAX makes their way to the ring. Konnan is joined by Slice Boogie, Rivera, and Julius Smokes.

Konnan gets in Duran’s face.

Konnan says they missed MLW and he welcomes it back. Konnan talks to Duran in Spanish and he says he is going to take this crowd to the next level.

Julius Smokes takes the mic and he says you don’t believe s*** until they step in it. Tonight, LAX is flushing the toilet on your monkey asses.

Rivera takes the mic and he says you already know who it is.

Konnan says now that he has finished introducing his crew and since we are in Philadelphia and you run Azteca Underground and have the power and the tag team champions, why not have LAX versus Los Parks for the title tonight.

Duran says he is always open to business and you need to make it fast because I don’t have time to negotiate with dinosaurs.

Oliver wants to know who Konnan is to think that he can bring these people around and challenge for the title on day one, but he says that Konnan is not a shot caller. He is a clout chasing clown. He tells Limelight it would be in his best interest because the lights are here for Injustice.

Rivera and Slice Boogie attack Oliver and Reed. Slice Boogie hits a reverse side slam on Oliver. Boogie sends Rivera onto Oliver with a double stomp.

Oliver is kicked tot he floor but Boogie and Rivera do not stop the assault. Reed with a flip dive onto Rivera and Boogie. Reed with forearms to Boogie while Oliver and Rivera exchange forearms.

Alicia Atout is with EJ Nduka in the back. EJ says he is glad to be here tonight. She asks him if he is ready to find out his number.

Alicia turns the tumbler and he pulls out his number and he is happy. He says it is time to finally show . . .

Contra Unit hijacks the feed and Josef Samael says the world has tuned in for a new era of Major League Wrestling. Are they prepared to see their heroes enter a new season of terror? Krugger says the black flag will fall over Philadelphia tonight as Contra conquers the Battle Riot.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Richard and Jared talk about the return of MLW Fusion and a new series. Fusion Alpha, which will debut in August.

Kevin Ku and Tom Lawlor are with Alicia Atout to get their numbers. Tom says it takes a perfect technique to get the proper number. Tom says he will become the first ever two time, two time Battle Riot Champion.

Kevin picks his number and Tom likes it. Tom gets the proper spin and he gets his number. Tom says that is not bad for a practice run. Alicia tells Tom and Kevin that it is a one and done thing.

EJ Nduka shows up and he says the Judge is in the building.

Tom says this isn’t a courthouse and he wants to know what EJ is the judge of. Tom says his name has ‘law’ in it.
EJ says we can find out right now or at Battle Riot.

They mention that MLW returns to Dallas on September 11th and will be back in Philadelphia on October 2nd.

Match Number One: Battle Riot III

The first two entrants are Davey Richards and Tom Lawlor.

They lock up and Lawlor with a forearm and Richards fires back. They go back and forth and Lawlor with a rear naked choke but Edwards with an elbow and he goes for an ankle lock on Lawlor. Lawlor kicks Richards into the turnbuckles. Lawlor with a single leg and trip. Richards with a heel hook into an STF but Lawlor bites Richards’ hand. Richards with an ankle lock.

The third entrant is TJP.

He takes his way to the ring while Richards has Lawlor in the ankle lock. TJP with an octopus on Richards and Lawlor gets free from Richards. Richards with an ankle lock on TJP. Lawlor with a rear naked choke on Richards. TJP and Lawlor kick Richards in the corner and they choke Richards. TJP with a kick to Richards while Lawlor punches Richards.

The fourth entrant is Lee Moriarty.

Lee kicks TJP and hits a springboard cross body on Lawlor. Lee lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex from TJP and Lee pushes TJP into Lawlor. Lee leap frogs TJP and hits an X Factor on Lawlor. Lee with a bulldog to TJP. Lee gets a near fall on Lawlor and then applies a Fujiwara arm bar. Richards with an ankle lock to TJP. TJP kicks Richards onto Lee and Lee has to release his submission. Lee bumps into Richards and they look at each other and they have some words before Richards pushes Lee and Lee pushes back. They go after TJP and Lawlor.

The fifth entrant is Kit Osbourne.

Osbourne kicks Lee but Richards with a punch to Osbourne followed by head butts. Richards with a kneeDT to Lawlor. Osbourne kicks TJP and Richards kicks Osbourne. Richards and Lee get Lawlor down and make a wish. TJP tries to crawl to the floor and Lee and Davey make a wish on TJP.

The sixth entrant is King Mo.

Richards has TJP in the corner. Mo with an exploder to Lee. Mo goes after Richards and osbourne and Lawlor join in. Mo and Osbourne with a double crab to Richards. They make a wish on Richards. Lawlor with a single leg crab on Richards and Osbourne joins in.

The seventh entrant is Calvin Tankman.

Tankman with forearms to Lawlor and TJP followed by Mo. Lee with a bicycle kick to Tankman and he does not move. Tankman blocks another kick and hits a pop up back elbow on Lee. Tankman with a forearm and chop to Richards. Richards with kicks to Tankman. Tankman with a chop to Richards.

The eighth entrant is Arez.

Richards holds on to the ropes to avoid being eliminated by Tankman. Arez rolls into the ring and hits super kicks on Richards, Tankman, and Osbourne. Arez with a super kick to Lawlor and a Michinoku Driver to Moriarty. TJP with punches to Arez followed by a European uppercut. Arez with a springbarod arm drag and a drop kick that sends TJP into the corner. Richards offers his hand and Arez shakes it but Richards with a back drive for a near fall.

The ninth entrant is Gringo Loco.

TJP kicks Richards to get Richards to release a Boston crab on Arez. Loco with a kick to Arez and Arez with an Irish whip and Loco floats over and flips across the ring. Loco with a kick and he leaps over Arez. Arez with an enzuigiri to Loco. Loco with a running torture rack drop to Arez. Loco kicks TJP and Loco presses TJP over his head and drop him followed by a standing moonsault and a moonsault from the turnbuckles for a near fall.

The tenth entrant is Zenshi.

Zenshi with a springboard move and he hits a handspring double Pele kick to Lawlor and Osbourne. Zenshi with a facebuster to Lee and to Arez. Zenshi kicks Tankman and tries for a facebuster to Tankman but he blocks it. Tankman sends Zenshi to the apron and Zenshi with a rana that sends Tankman into the ropes and Zenshi with a Tiger Feint Kick but he stays on the apron. Tankman with a running shoulder tackle that knocks Zenshi off the apron and he lands on a table at ringside so his feet have not hit the floor.

The eleventh entrant is Aramis.

Aramis with a springboard head scissors to Loco. Aramis goes to the ropes and he lands on Loco’s shoulders. Loco clotheslines Arez and Aramis counters into a satellite head scissors take down. Arez with a victory roll and then he is propelled towards Loco for a tornado DDT. Arez with a head scissors to Aramis while Zenshi leaps from the timekeeper’s table to the apron. Aramis with an arm drag to Arez. Loco hits a springboard cutter. Zenshi with a somersault senton to Arez. Richards with a sleeper on TJP. Mo chokes Osbourne.

The twelfth entrant is Alex Kane.

Kane with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Arez and then to a Saito suplex to Aramis. Kane with an exploder to Loco. Kane with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Zenshi and TJP avoids being taken out by the impact. Kane with a German suplex to Osbourne. Kane hits a Dragon suplex on Lee. TJP tries to kick Zenshi to the floor. Tankman and Kane face off and Tankman blocks an exploder but he cannot avoid a German suplex from Kane.

The thirteenth entrant is Myron Reed.

Reed with a matrix and an enzuigiri to Kane. Lee goes for a suplex on Reed but Reed counters with a cutter and then he sends Lee over the top rope and he lands on the apron. Richards tries to help Reed and then Arez joins in. TJP tries to send Richards over the top rope to the floor. Zenshi hangs in the ropes to avoid elimination. Tankman gets Aramis up. Mo with a forearm and a second one and Zenshi is knocked off the apron but he lands on his back with his feet against the guardrail.

The fourteenth entrant is Savio Vega.

Savio brings a ekndo stick and he uses it on Osbourne. Then he goes after Arez and Lawlor. Savio goes after Lee, Kane, and TJP with the kendo stick. Savio hits Tankman and then goes after Osbourne for seconds. Savio hits Richards and Reed with the kendo stick. Zenshi walks on his hands to get back on the apron. Savio hits Osbourne some more with the kendo stick. Savio hits Arez.

The fifteenth entrant is Jordan Oliver.

Oliver kicks Osbourne while Tankman punches Lee. Oliver kicks Arez and then he is joined by Reed to try to elilminated Arez. Aramis with shoulders to Oliver. Kane with knees to Vega while Arez punches Reed. TJP with a sleeper to Tankman while Tankman punches Zenshi. Osbourne kicks Tankman. Zenshi kicks Reed and then he hits a double Pele kick on Reed and Oliver. Zenshi hangs from the ropes and he sweeps Oliver’s leg. Reed charges at Zenshi on the apron and he is sent over the top rope but Oliver catches him and Zenshi uses the ropes to keep him from falling off the apron. Oliver puts Reed back into the ring.

The sixteenth entrant is The Beastman.

Beastman punches Richards and Lawlor followed by Reed and Osbourne. Tankman goes face to face with Beastman. Beastman with a forearm and Tankman fires back. They go back and forth while Vega and Osbourne battle and others relax. Beastman sends Tankman to the mat with a forearm. Kane with a splash to Reed and Beastman bites TJP.

The seventeenth and eighteenth entrants are Rivera and Slice Boogie. (Accompanied by Julius Smokes and a shopping cart of weapons)

Rivera attacks many people with a trash can lid. Arez is hit with the lid and he lands on the apron. Reed and Zenshi punch Rivera. Boogie puts a board against the turnbuckles and Rivera puts Oliver on it. Reed with forearms to Rivera and then Slice catches Reed on a springboard move. Slice runs Reed into Oliver on the board and it breaks. Zenshi kicks Tankman in the back. Rivera is given a kendo stick and he hits Arez and Vega.

The nineteenth entrant is Matt Cross.

Rivera hits Vega with the kendo stick and then Boogie and Rivera pin Vega. Savio Vega Eliminated. Cross with a forearm to Slice and Beastman. Cross with a forearm to Oliver and Arez with forearms to Zenshi. Cross sends Aramis to the apron and he tries to eliminate him. Zenshi with a diagonal coast to coast to Beastman. Lawlor tries to eliminate Richards. Zenshi with a 630 splash to Beastman and Oliver sends Zenshi over the top rope but Zenshi uses his feet to hang on to the bottom rope.

The twentieth entrant is Bu Ku Dao.

Dao and TJP fight on the floor before Dao can enter the match. Dao Irish whips TJP into the guardrail. Lawlor goes over the top rope when he misses Richards and Richards with a forearm to knock Lawlor off the apron. Tom Lawlor Eliminated. Kane with a German suplex to Zenshi. Beastman chops Slice. Tankman has Kane over the rope.

The twenty-first entrant is Marshall Von Erich.

Slice pushes Aramis off the top rope to the floor. Aramis Eliminated. Marshall with a claw to Osburne followed by a twisting claw slam and the three count. Kit Osbourne Eliminated. Beastman grabs Von Erich and Von Erich with the claw. Arez has one foot on the floor but he keeps the other foot on the apron. Mo has Loco in a head and arm choke. Richards with a head butt to TJP. Tankman gets Zenshi up but Zenshi escapes.

The twenty-second entrant is EJ Nduka.

Nduka hits the ring and clotheslines Beastman over the top rope to the floor. Beastman Eliminated. Nduka sends Zenshi over the top rope and he holds on and tries to skin the cat and does so. Nduka with a spear to Loco and then he is sent over the top rope to the floor. Grinco Loco Eliminated. Richards kicks Nduka and then Zenshi tries to join to hit a double suplex but Nduka counters with a double suplex of his own. Von Erich tries to eliminate Rivera.

The twenty-third entrant is Kimchee.

Nduka blocks a clothesline from Kane and Nduka clotheslines Kane over the top rope to the floor. Alex Kane Eliminated. Kimchee enters the ring while Nduka has King Mo on his shoulders and he sends him to the floor with a Death Valley Driver. King Mo Eliminated. Nduka sends Kimchee over the top rope to the floor. Kimchee Eliminated. Arez with punches to Nduka but they do nthoing for him. Nduka sends Arez over the top rope to the floor. Arez Eliminated. Dao has some words for Nduka and Nduka hits a spinebuster.

The twenty-fourth entrant is Zicky Dice.

TJP pins Dao. Bu Ku Dao Eliminated. Nduka sends TJP over the top rope to the floor. TJP Eliminated. Lee with a double thrust to Dice’s throat and then Dice turns into a magician as he pulls something from his mouth and he clotheslines Lee. Dice clotheslines Cross. Dice realizes that he might have bitten off too much with Nduka and Nduka punches Dice. Von Erich with a claw slam to Dice.

The twenty-fifth entrant is Kevin Ku.

Ku with a back heel kick to Dice followed by a discus clothesline and brainbuster. Oliver and Von Erich try to eliminate Richards. Rivera chokes Reed. Dice and Cross back Nduka into the corner and Nduka with punches to Cross but Dice with a punch. Nduka with a back drop to Cross and he goes over the top rope to the floor. Matt Cross Eliminated.

The twenty-sixth entrant is KC Navarro.

Lee kicks Tankman in the corner. Navarro with a satellite DDT to Ku. Navarro with punches to Rivera. Lee is sent to the apron and Tankman with a back fist to send him to the floor. Lee Moriarty Eliminated. Von Erich kicks Nduka. Nduka and Tankman square off in the center of the ring and exchange forearms.

The twenty-seventh entrant is Lance Anoa’i.

Nduka gets Tankman on his shoulders and Tankman goes to the apron. He pulls Nduka over the top rope and eliminates him while Tankman is pushed off the apron. Calvin Tankman and EJ Nduka Eliminated. Reed grabs Rivera and Oliver grabs Slice. Oliver and Reed are sent to the apron and then Slice and Rivera charge at Reed and Oliver but Reed and Oliver drop down and Rivera and Boogie go over the top rope to the floor. Slice Boogie and Rivera Eliminated. Reed and Oliver celebrate what they just did and Boogie and Rivera pull them off the apron. Myron Reed and Jordan Oliver Eliminated. Richards kicks Dice and Lance kicks Marshall.

The twenty-eighth entrant is LA Park.

Park makes his way to the ring and he has lost a significant amount of weight since his last appearance. He hits Tankman with the chair a few times before going into the ring. Park struts in the ring and Marshall punches him and applies the claw. The mask is removed and LA Park is Tom Lawlor. Marshall clotheslines Park over the top rope to the floor. LA Park Eliminated. Lance with a Samoan drop to Dice and then he hits a running hip strike on Navarro.

The twenty-ninth entrant is Simon Gotch.

Lance with a super kick to Richards and Richards is sent over the top rope to the floor. Davey Richards Eliminated. Gotch kicks Von Erich and then he goes after Lance with punches and chops. Gotch with forearms to Lance and then he kicks Navarro. Gotch with a brainbuster to Navarro. Gotch kicks Dice in the corner and follows with an uppercut.

The thirtieth entrant is Daivari.

Gotch with a head butt to Lance and that might be a problem. Daivari clotheslines Navarro and chokes him with the flag. Gotch tries to send Lance over the top rope. Daivari hangs Navarro over the top rope with the flag and Navarro with a kick to stay on the apron.

The thirty-first entrant is Blue Meanie.

Meanie with punches to everyone still in the match. Meanie dances in the ring and then Daivari with a forearm and he kicks Meanie. Gotch joins in and so does Dice. Gotch with a heel hook on Navarro but Navarro rolls through to kick Gotch.

The thirty-second entrant is Ikuro Kwon.

Kwon kicks Meanie and then he kicks Navarro and Lance. Gotch with a guillotine on Meanie. Daviari punches Dice. Kwon with kicks to Meanie but Meanie uses some misdirection to punch Kwon. Gotch stops Meanie.

The thirty-third entrant is Ross Von Erich.

Kwon pins Dice. Zicky Dice Eliminated. Ross with a waist lock take down on Kwon and he punches and kicks Daivari. Gotch tries to get Meanie over the top rope. Kwon with an elbow to Ross followed by forearms by Daivari. Lance with a forearm to Kwon’s back and then Kwon is sent into the turnbuckles.

The thirty-fourth entrant is Josef Samael.

Samael has his spike with him and he hits Marshall with it and he kicks Marshall. Josef rakes Ross’ eyes and Kwon protects Daviari. Samael with a neck breaker to Ross and he gets a near fall. Lance and Kwon battle in the corner. Samael with a Camel clutch on Ross and he puts the spike in Ross’ mouth.

The thirty-fifth entrant is Alexander Hammerstone.

Hammerstone goes after Samael, Gotch, and Kwon with forearms and elbows. Hammerstone punches and kicks Samael. Hammerstone punches Kwon. Hammerstone punches Lance and then he grabs Kwon and connects with a forearm. Marshall kicks and punches Meanie and Meanie with a claw to Marshall but Marshall shows why Von Erichs do it better. Samael bites Ross’ forehead. Daivari kicks Hammerstone. Lance gets a near fall on Navarro.

The thirty-sixth entrant are Sentai Death Squad Member One and Two.

They attack Lance and Ross with their helmets. Death Squad members work over Lance. Marshall kicks Samael and connects with forearms. The Death Squad continues to work over Lance. They turn their attention to Hammerstone. Gotch with a sharpshooter on Ross.

The thirty-seventh entrant is Kwang the Ninja.

Kwang hits members of Contra with the nunchuks. Kwang hits Ross but Samael with a double thrust to Kwang. Gotch punches and chokes Kwang. Samael chops Marshall while Daivari holds Marshall. Navarro with a double sledge to one of the Death Squad members.

The thirty-eighth entrant is King Muertes.

Swang spits mist in Meanie’s face and Muertes hits a flatliner for the three count. Blue Meanie Eliminated. Muertes chokes Hammerstone in the ropes. Kwang with a chop to Ross. Marshall makes the save for Hammerstone from being eliminated. Muertes punches Hammerstone.

The thirty-ninth entrant is Gino Medina.

Medina gets a near fall on Ross. Medina with an inside cradle on Marshall for a near fall. Samael works over Marshall but Marshall with elbows to escape Samael momentarily. Muertes and Medina exchange punches and forearms.

The fortieth entrant is Mads Krugger.

Gotch with a European uppercut to Ross. Krugger enters the ring and Hammerstone is waiting for him. Krugger sends Lance and Navarro over the top rope to the floor. Lance Anao’i and KC Navarro Eliminated. Hammerstone punches Krugger and Krugger with a knee and punch. Krugger with an uppercut while Medina hits an enzuigiri but Medina is back dropped to the floor by Muertes. Gino Medina Eliminated. Muertes with a flatliner to Kwang for the three count. Kwang the Ninja Eliminated.

Kwon kicks Ross and then he kicks Ross while Ross is being held by a Death Squad Member. Samael and Kurgger with punches Muertes. Ross and Marshall work over Krugger and then they go after Muertes. Muertes kicks Marshall and then he tosses Ross into Marshall. Marshall and Ross send Muertes over the top rope to the floor. Mil Muertes Eliminated. Ross and Kwon exchange kicks.

Ross, Marshall, and Hammerstone stand back to back in the center of the ring while surrounded by the members of Contra Unit. Ross, Marshall, and Hammerstone fight them off. Hammerstone clotheslines a Sentai Death Squad Member over the top rope to the floor. Sentai Death Squad Member A Eliminated. The other Sentai Death Squad Member punches Marshall while Samael attempts to hit Hammerstone with the spike but misses and the spike is stuck in the turnbuckle. Samael and the other Sentai Death Squad Member go over the top rope to the floor. Josef Samael and Sentai Death Squad Member B Eliminated.

Gotch kicks Ross in the leg while Kwon punches Marshall. Kwon is sent to the apron and Kwon with a kick but Marshall with a claw and claw slam on the apron that forces Kwon to the floor. Ikuro Kwon Eliminated. Ross with an inside cradle on Gotch for a near fall. Marshall and Ross with foerarms and kicks to Krugger in the corner. Hammerstone works over Daivari but Gotch with punches and kicks to Hammerstone. Krugger grabs Ross and Marshall by the throat and he pushes them against the ropes and then he clotheslines Ross and Marshall over the top rope to the floor. Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich Eliminated.

We are down to the final four and they are Alexander Hammerstone, Simon Gotch, Daivari, and Mads Krugger. Hammerstone runs through Gotch and Daivari and hits a double clothesline and then hits a double clothesline to send Gotch and Daivari over the top rope to the floor. Simon Gotch and Daivari Eliminated.

We are down to the final two and it is Alexander Hammerstone and Mads Krugger. Hammerstone runs Krugger into the corner and connects with shoulders. Krugger pushes Hammerstone away and hits a spinebuster. Krugger with punches in the corner. Krugger with an elbow in the corner. Hammerstone with punches and forearms. Krugger with a chop and Hammerstone goes down. Krugger sets for a choke slam but Hammerstone gets out of the grip around his throat and Hammerstone with a bicycle kick. Krugger with a full nelson slam for a near fall. Krugger with a choke slam for a near fall. Hammerstone has a recovery like a man who also wore red and yellow. Hammerstone with punches but he gets a boot up when Krugger charges into the corner. Hammerstone with an enzuigiri. Krugger with a kick to Hammerstone. Krugger sees the spike in the turnbuckles and he takes it. Hammerstone avoids Krugger and he pucnhes Krugger. Krugger with a clothesline and Hammerstone takes the spike and Hammerstone sends the spike into Krugger’s foot and then punches him with the spike. Hammerstone with a back body drop and he clotheslines Krugger over the top rope. Mads Krugger Eliminated.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone

After the match, Krugger attacks a referee and shows his frustration.

Hammerstone celebrates in the ring and he grabs a Contra flag and rips it. Hammerstone with a celebration that is appropriate for a man wearing red and yellow.

Jacob Fatu comes to the ring but Josef Samael holds Fatu back.

Hammerstone goes around the ring to celebrate with the fans and Hammerstone is given a bottle of oil from a fan and he puts some on as he returns to the ring to do more posing.
