WWE NXT UK REPORT: WALTER/DRAGUNOV II IS SET, TAG TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

We begin with a look back at the announcement that WALTER suffered an injury last week that forced their match to be canceled. We are also reminded that the Tag Titles will be on the line tonight.

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Sid Scala is in the ring and he says that we were supposed to have WALTER versus Ilja Dragunov tonight. Due to a backstage altercation, WALTER is unable to compete and cannot defend the title tonight. Sid says that he has talked to Johnny Saint with WWE management and Sid sends it to management.

William Regal, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H appear and Regal says they have been taking a keen interest in what has been happening between Ilja and WALTER. Shawn says they were disappointed to hear that the match was going to be postponed. Triple H says that after discussions with Johnny Saint, they have the best possible option. Regal says that their rivalry has been the most intense. Shawn says this match should be seen by the entire world. Triple H says that WALTER will defend his title against Ilja Dragunov on August 22nd at Takeover.

We see Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster in the back with Dani Luna as they prepare for the NXT UK Tag Title Match.
We go to commercial.

We are back with Symbosis. Primate says that you chose to use weapons but the wounds of war heal, you won’t. T-Bone says you might be the ‘big strong boy’ but see how you fare against two big strong men. Eddie Dennis says we haven’t forgotten about you Trent. How will you feel when we return the favor and try to end your careers?

Match Number One: Laura Di Matteo versus Nina Samuels

They lock up and Nina with a wrist lock. Di Matteo with a double leg take down into a front face lock. Nina with an escape into a hammer lock. Laura with a wrist lock. Nina tries to escape or reverse the hold but Laura holds on. Nina with a single leg take down and she follows with a knee drop to the arm. Nina with a La Magistral attempt but Laura blocks it and gets a near fall with a rollup.

Nina with a boot to the midsection and she sends Laura to the mat and follows with kicks. Nina sends Laura face first into the mat. Nina with a figure four on the legs and she applies a bow and arrow and she sends Laura to the mat face first. Nina with more kicks and she sends Laura into the turnbuckles. Nina with a running back elbow into the corner and a leap frog neck snap.

Nina with a rear chin lock. Nina with a knee to the back. Laura with a punch to the midsection but Nina holds on to the chin lock. Nina with a slam and she goes for a full nelson but Laura counters with a rollup for a near fall. Laura with a drop kick. Nina with an Irish whip but Nina misses a splash and Laura with a rollup for a near fall.
Laura with another rollup for a near fall. Laura with forearms but Nina gets Laura up and runs her into the turnbuckles. Nina with shoulders and kicks in the corner followed by a few slaps. Nina puts Laura on the turnbuckles and Laura kicks Nina away and hits a rana. Laura with clotheslines and follows with an enzuigiri. Nina catches Laura off the ropes and Nina with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker followed by another back breaker. Nina stretches Laura in the ropes and then hits a drop kick to the back. Nina with a knee to the head from a Dominator for the three count.

Winner: Nina Samuels

We take a look at Teoman and Rohan Raja at their dinner table. Teoman says that when he came to NXT UK, he said nothing was more important to him than family. I will stop at nothing to protect and provide for my mother and my brothers. I was born hundreds of miles away from my brother, but through respect we have a bond. Raja says Ashton and Oliver saw how strong their bond is. My brother invited me into his family because he saw how strong I was. Teoman says you will either choose respect or fear. He says the family is always growing.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Xia Brookside and she is interrupted by Blair Davenport. She asks how long as Xia been signed. She says she has been here for five minutes and everyone is talking about me. They only know you because of your daddy’s last night. She tells Xia to talk to her when she gets her own last name.

It is time for Supernova Sessions with Noam Dar.

Noam apologizes for the time off but he is back.

He brings out his guests Jinny and Joseph Conners.

Jinny and Joseph are not impressed with Noam’s choice of seats and Noam gives her a pillow for her folding chair.

Noam says he has another ten out of ten like himself. Noam asks Jinny for her phone number and he says it is a joke. He says he is a bit of a fashionista himself and he asks Jinny to feel his sweatshirt. Noam says that is boyfriend material and then Jinny says it felt cheap.

Noam says that Jinny and Joseph are not cheap any more and it has to do with the relationship. Noam wants to know if it is personal or professional.
Jinny calls Noam pathetic and she says that you never call her cheap. Joseph says since he has associated himself with Jinny, he has been surrounded by class and culture. Why wouldn’t he associate with Jinny. Jinny says she is sick of those questions. Smart people associate themselves with smart people.

Jinny says she is not done. She tells Aoife Valkyrie that she came on this show because of what you said about her. You are a scared little, fragile girl. You will say it from afar, but never to my face. You will never go toe to toe with the Queen of NXT UK because I will be the one to finish you.

We see Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley in the back getting Yes Boyed for tonight’s match against Subculture.

We are back with Rampage Brown. He says this is it. Brown/Coffey III. He says this match will separate the man from the boys. He will show by any means necessary that he will come out on top.

Match Number Two: Joseph Conners (with Jinny) versus Tristan Archer

They lock up and Conners with a waist lock and a wrist lock take down. Archer gets back to his feet but Conners sends Archer back to the mat. Archer with a take down but Conners gets to the ropes. They lock up and Archer with a waist lock into a side head lock. Archer with a snap mare and shoulder tackle. Archer catches Conners on a leap frog but Conners gets back to his feet.

Archer with a clothesline and he kicks Conners in the corner. Archer with an Irish whip and Conners floats over and he kicks Archer. Conners with a chin lock and a leap frog neck snap. Conners with a forearm to the back followed by punches. Conners with elbows and clotheslines in the corner followed by a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Conners with a chop and snap mare followed by a knee drop. Connors with a knee drop off the ropes and he gets a near fall.

Archer kicks Conners while Conners kicks back. Archer with a jaw breaker and elbow. Conners with a forearm to the midsection followed by a kick. Conners with a crucifix for a near fall. Conners with a snap mare and knee to the back. Conners with elbows and knees. Conners with a rear chin lock. Conners with forearms but Archer with punches. They go back and forth. Archer with a head butt and punches. Archer with a chop and forearms. Archer goes for a suplex but Conners pushes Archer and Archer sends Conners into the corner and Archer follwos with a kick. Archer goes up top but he sees Conners coming after him. Archer with a facebuster for a near fall. Archer goes for the ankle but Conners with a near fall. Archer with an inside cradle for a near fall. Archer with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Archer runs into a boot but Archer with a clothesline. Conners with a DDT followed by the Hierarchy for the three count.

Winner: Joseph Conners

After the match, while Jinny celebrates in the ring with Joseph Conners, Aoife Valkyrie shows up at ringside on the other side of the ringside barrier. Valkyrie leaps over the ringside barrier and Jinny confronts her.

Valkyrie gives Jinny a feather and Jinny accepts it.

We go to footage of Jordan Devlin leaving Sid Scala’s office earlier today. Devlin is asked about the Iron Man against A-Kid. Devlin says you don’t need him to list A-Kid’s accolades. Today, he got another accolade. He is the dumbest man on the planet for asking for an Iron Man match with a torn ACL against the Irish Ace for 30 minutes. I know there is no way your knee is at 100%. You can lie to everyone. I could hear the tear and I heard you cry. Last time, I tried to end your career, the next time we are in the ring, I will finish the job.

We go to Dave Mastiff at the Performance Centre earlier this week and he is asked if he is okay. Dave says he is looking after himself and then Jack Starz enters. Jack thanks Dave for all of the support he gave him. He says Dave is the reason he went after Tyler and he cannot thank him enough. Dave says there is more to come from this and Mastiff leaves the room.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Tyler Bate and Trent Seven and they are asked about the comments from Symbiosis. Trent says that it is all words from them. He says they cannot let it go. The feud is over and they should shut their mouths. Tyler says that Trent was jumped and that means that he will have to put the Heritage Cup Title on the back burner because of this. Trent says they say there is a target at the top of Moustache Mountain but there is a cabin with the two biggest and strongest boys.

Match Number Three: Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster (with Dani Luna) versus Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship

Stoker and Webster start things off and they lock up. Webster gets out of trouble and they lock up again. Webster with a chop and Stoker with a waist lock take down. Webster with a forearm and arm drag. Stoker with a rollup and a reverse atomic drop and punch. Stoker with another atomic drop. Webster with knees and Stoker with a forearm to the back. Webster with a lateral press for a near fall. Andrews tags in.

Andrews blocks a suplex by Stoker and they hit a double suplex. Howley gets in the ring and the referee tries to restore order. Howley tags in and they lock up. Howley sends Andrews into the corner and they lock up. Andrews with a side head lock. Howley with a shoulder tackle but Andrews kicks Howley in the leg. Andrews with a head scissors but Howley tosses Andrews face first to the mat. Howley sends Andrews to the floor and then he pulls Webster off the ropes. Webster avoids Howley and Stoker and then Andrews with a cross body onto both men.

Andrews and Webster with drop kicks to send Howley and Stoker to the floor. Howley backs away from Andrews and he almost bumps into Luna. Howley has some words for Luna but Andrews with a forearm to Howley. They return to the ring and Andrews with a lateral press and he gets a near fall. Andrews with a forearm and Stoker tags in.

Stoker with a DDT to Andrews. Stoker knocks Webster off the apron and then Stoker and Howley double team Andrews and Stoker gets a near fall. Stoker with a punch and a half nelson and chin bar. Howley tags in and he kicks Andrews in the ribs. Howley with an Irish whip that sends Andrews sternum first into the turnbuckles and then Howley gets a near fall. Stoker chokes Andrews on the apron and then Stoker tags in.

Stoker with a short arm clothesline to Andrews. Andrews with punches and Stoker sends Andrews back into the rign and he stops Andrews from making the tag. Andrews with a kick and forearms. Andrews kicks Stoker way and Howley tags in and stops Andrews from making the tag. Andrews is sent into the turnbuckles and Howley follows with a forearm. Stoker tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle.

Howley with a leg drop while Stoker hits a splash and Stoker gets a near fall. Stoker with a front face lock and elbow. Howley tags in and he kicks Andrews. Howley with a punch. Howley with a slam and fist drop for a near fall. Howley with a reverse chin lock into a side head lock. Andrews is sent into the corner and he connects with forearms. Howley runs Andrews into the corner again and Stoker tags in. Andrews with jaw breakers but Howley stops Andrews from making the tag.

Andrews with a forearm to Stoker and then he rolls through on Howley and makes the tag to Webster. Webster with forearms and chops to Shoker and Webster with a flying clothesline and drop kick. Webster with a springboard drop kick to Howley on the apron. Webster with Angel’s Wings for a near fall. Webster lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Webster with an elbow and he goes for a moonosault but Stoker moves out of the way. Webster lands on his feet. Webster lands on his feet on a German suplex attempt. Howley tags in and Webster is tossed to Howley but Stoker but Webster with a rana. Howley goes to the floor and Webster sends Stoker to the floor. Webster and Andrews with stereo flip dives onto Howley and Stoker. Webster with a quebrada for a near fall. Howley with Snake Eyes to Webster but he misses a boot. Webster with a head butt and Howley falls into his corner so Stoker tags in.

Webster with a head butt to Stoker and Andrews tags in and he hits a leap frog Code Red for a near fall. Webster tags back in but Stoker drops Andrews on the top rope. Webster misses a 450 splash and rolls through. Stoker with a clothesline and Howley tags in and Howley propels Stoker to Webster for a facebuster and Howley gets a near fall. Howley gets Webster up and Stoker tags in. Webster tries to push Howley into Stoker but they stop short. Andrews tags in and slides under Howley and Stoker. Andrews with a double Pele Kick.

Andrews with forearms and chops to Stoker. Howley makes the tag and they hit the tandem double knee gutbuster. Howley with a forearm as Stoker tosses Andrews towards him but Webster breaks up the cover. Stoker tags in and Howley goes over the top rope when he misses Webster. Andrews with Stundog Millionaire and Webster tags in. Andrews with a poisonrana while Webster hits a flying boot but Howley breaks up the cover.

Andrews with forearms to HowleyAndrews with a moonsault off the ring steps to Howley but Howley catches Andrews but Andrews with a DDT on the floor. Webster and Stoker go back and forth with near falls. Webster with a flying boot to the head and Andrews tags in. Andrews goes up top and Stoker is pulled out of the way on the shooting star press. Webster with a flip dive but he is caught by Stoker and Howley and Webster is dropped on the ringside barrier.

Andrews with forearms to Stoker and Howley. Howley gets a title belt and goes to the apron but Andrews with a forearm and the impact forces the title belt to fall into the ring. The referee takes the title belt and Stoker and Howley with a neck breaker Hart Attack for the three count.

Winners: Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley (retain championship)
