SPOILERS: THE MAIN EVENT OF TAKEOVER SUMMER SLAM WEEKEND WILL BE, STAR RETURNS TO NXT

At tonight's NXT taping, following last night's angle that ended with Karrion Kross laying out William Regal, Samoa Joe announced he is giving up his storyline management position and has signed a wrestler contract.  He will face Kross at the 8/22 Takeover event SummerSlam weekend.

Also, Ridge Holland returned to the brand.  He has been out of action since last fall when he suffered an ankle injury catching Oney Lorcan on a dive while he was standing on the floor.
