COMPLETE AEW DYNAMITE FYTERFEST REPORT

Welcome one and all to AEW Dynamite.  Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross and Excalibur have tonight's call and we are live in the state of Texas for Fyter Fest Night 2. The Five Labors of Jericho, the AEW Women's World Championship and the IWGP U.S. Championship are ALL to be decided 

The First Labor of Jericho: Only Shawn Spears can use a chair in this match: Shawn Spears w/Tully Blanchard vs. Chris Jericho

MJF joins the broadcast booth, kissing the Dynamite Diamond Ring. MJF immediately makes a Chris Jericho in labor joke.  Jericho with a punch followed by chops. Spears drops his chair and drops to his knees.  Side kick and a chop by Spears.  Spears whips him into the buckles but Jericho with a clothesline.  Spears to the floor and Jericho follows him with punches, chops and tosses him into the barricade.  Backfist by Spears.

MJF: You know what they call a hot girl in Dallas?  A tourist.

Spears throws a chair at Jericho's head as he tried a springboard dropkick.  Spears with ground and pound.  Jerichio fires back and hits a standing dropkick.  Jericho to the top but a Spanish Fly by Spears for 2.  Spears works the injured arm and slams a chair into it.  Spears with chops and he plays to the crowd.  He misses a charge and Jericho hits 2 shoulderblocks and a double sledge hammer off the top.  Jericho with a running clothesline and a 10 pack of punches in the corner.  Hurancanrana by Le Champion but Spears with a superkick for 2.  Spears sets up the chair in the corner.  Jericho with chops and a kick but Spears with a spinebuster for 2.  MJF is angry about a slow count.  Here comes a second chair and Spears rams it across the back.  Double leg by Jericho into the Walls and Spears is desperate.  Tully to the apron and distracts Aubrey Edwards.  Sammy Guevara chases him away as Spears clocks Jericho with a chair and hits a C4 for 2.  

Spears sets up a chair on the top rope and uses it to set up another C4.  Jericho slides out and nails a Judas effect for the pin.

WINNER: Chris Jericho

MJF grabs the mic and congratulates him on passing the first labor.  Any other Inner Circle member comes out will cost Jericho his match with MJF.  Labor 2 is a No DQ match against Nick Freaking Gage.

Here comes Mr. MDK, the Death Match Specialist to play to the crowd.

TNT champion Miro adresses his public.  He vows to forgive all his challengers.

Doc Gallows vs. Frankie Kazarian

The new Impact Tag Team Champions come out very smug.  The Elite Hunter is out for blood. Kaz has a 20-3 record in 2021.  Charge by Kazarian and het hits left and rights.  Frankie with chops and a dropkick off the top.  Gallows with a boot to the face off of a Kazarian charge.  Into the buckles goes Kazarian and Gallows sensds him over the top rope.  Karl Anderson with a clothesline as we go to commercial.

We're back and Gallows has a headlock.  Kaz elbows out and nails a clothesline and a belly to back suplex.  Legdrop for 2 by Kazarian.  Anderson to the apron and a big kick by Gallows and he hits choke slam powerslam for the pin.

WINNER: Doc Gallows

The Good Brothers stomp Kazarian and nail the Magic Killer.  This brings out Don Callis and Kenny Omega.  They remind everyone what happens when you mess with the Elite.  The Good Brothers continue to stomp Kazarian.  For months, Frankie has been a thorn in their side and Omega mocks him.  He goes to nail him with the belt and here comes Hangman Page.  Callis points out that it's 4 on 1.  Hangman goes to work but the Good Brothers quickly gain the edge.  The Dark Order immediately even the odds.  Page with a buckshot lariat to Gallows.  

Callis and Omega slink away.

Brian Cage is with Dasha and shows him Team Taz on the screen. They congratulate new FTW champion Ricky Starks. There'll be a celebration next week.  Cage loves celebrations.

Wheeler Yuta w/Orange Cassidy vs. Darby Allin w/Sting

Hammerlock by Allin, he turns it into a snapmare.  crucifix by Darby for 2.  Hikuleo is at ringside.  Allin stomps the hand but Yuta with a kick.  He scores a 1 count. Yuta with chops but Allin gets a few of his own.  Boot to the face by Allin but a punch to the ribs and an Octopus by Yuta.  Allin with a back elbow but Yuta with a German Bridge for 2.  Yuta to the top.  Allin stops him and hits a superplex.  Sting and Cassidy go face to face on the outside.  They exchange weak kicks to the crowd's delight.  Yuta and Allin excahnge rollups.  Stunner and a coffin drop by Allin and that's all she wrote.

WINNER: Darby Allin

The Blade attacks Cassidy with brass knux and struts off.

We see highlights from WrestleKingdom 2020 and the first Texas Death Match between Jon Moxley and Lance Archer.

AEW Women's World Championship: Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (AEW Champion) w/Rebel vs. Nyla Rose w/ Vickie Guerrero

Lockup, shoulderblock by Rose. Go behind by Rose but an armdrag by Baker.  Baker with a hammerlock, she digs it in.  Rose bullies her into the corner.  Rollup by Baker for 2.  Rose with a gut buster.  Nyla looking to become a 2 time champion here.  Rebel saves the champion from a draping legdrop.  Britt with a drop toe hold as we go to commercial.We are back as Baker tries some forearms but a rock bottom by Rose.  Backbreaker by the challenger.  Fallaway slam by Rose.  Avalanche by Rose, she misses a cannonball.  Sling Blade by the champion.  Baker fires away and gets a backslide for 2.  THAT looked like 3.  DDT by Baker for 2.  Baker puts her glove on. 

Baker counters a powerbomb and tries a lockjaw but Rose with a death valley driver.  Rose with the draping legdrop for 2.  Baker with a swinging neckbreaker and kick to the jaw.  Side kick for 2 by Baker.  Choke slam by Rose for 2.  Crucifix by Baker for 2.  Another crucifx by Baker for 2.  Baker with 2 curb stomps for 2.  Forearm by Rose and a big right hand.  Rebel to the apron and Baker pulls the old Eddie Guerrero belt trick but Rose turns the tables.  Rose with a power bomb for 2.  Btitt rolls over a powerbomb attempt and applies the lockjaw for the submission.

WINNER AND STILL AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPION: Dr. Britt Baker DMD

In the back Tony Schiavone presides over a press conference between FTR and Santana and Ortiz.  Santana was awesome here.

My powerr has gone out for me, so just is a quick update:

Andrade introduced Chavo Guerrero as his new executive director.  They faced off with Death Triangle with Andrade saying that they and everyone else work for him.

Orange Cassidy defeated The Blade in a back and forth bout after ducking brass knucks and nailing the Orange Punch.

Chris Jericho re-introduced the Painmaker ahead of next week's match with Nick Gage, saying that if he was going to take on Gage, he was going to bring back the most demented version of himself.

Jon Moxley vs. Lance Archer Texas Death Match.  They brawl all over and a "fan" is used as a weapon.  Archer is busted open and then Moxley used a fork.  They battled back and forth and destroyed a lot of plunder.  Archer wouldn't stay down and used the double bird so Moxley assaulted him with the fork and tossed a barbed wire board into the equation.  He set it up over two tables on the floor.  He went to put Archer through but Archer used the fork and then chokeslammed him through the tables and the wire.  Moxley was trapped and was counted down, so we've got a new champion.

Archer and Hikuelo faced off to set the stage for next week in Charlotte.
