DDT STAR INJURED, TAJIRI UPDATE, FMW-E REVEALS FULL CARD FOR BURNOUT AND MORE FROM JAPAN

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced Makoto Oishi fractured his first lumbar vertebrae at its show on July 18 in Shiroishi.

Oishi was scheduled to team with Jun Akiyama to challenge Konosuke Takeshita and Shunma Katsumata for the KO-D Tag Team Championships at DDT’s show on August 15 in Korakuen Hall. The match has been cancelled.

Additionally, DDT has updated the cards for its shows on July 23 in Nagoya and July 24 in Izumi due to Oishi’s absence.

Hideki Sekine is shown on the poster for Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s show on August 24 in Kose Sports Park Budokan.

Sekine recently wrestled GENTARO to a time limit draw (three three-minute rounds) at Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS’ show on July 18 in Twin Messe Shizuoka.

All Japan Pro Wrestling

All Japan Pro Wrestling has confirmed TAJIRI will return at its show on July 22 in Korakuen Hall.

TAJIRI was previously deemed to have been in close contact with Black Menso~re and/or Shuji Ishikawa, who tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago.

TAJIRI will team with Hokuto Omori and Yusuke Kodama as they attempt their first defense of the AJPW TV 6-Man Tag Team Championships against Carbell Ito, Seigo Tachibana and Yoshitatsu.
