NJPW SUMMER STRUGGLE RESULTS, DDT DAMNATION CARD REVEALED AND MORE FROM JAPAN

New Japan Pro Wrestling held its fourth Summer Struggle tour show today in Ryugasaki City General Gymnasium.

The full results were:

• Robbie Eagles, SHO and YOH def. DOUKI, El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru
• EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi def. Tomohiro Ishii and Yuya Uemura
• Hiroshi Tanahashi, Rocky Romero and Ryusuke Taguchi and Tiger Mask def. El Phantasmo, Gedo, KENTA and Taiji Ishimori
• Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb def. Kazuchika Okada and Yota Tsuji
• BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito def. Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Master Wato, Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata

Kota Ibushi was scheduled to team with Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Master Wato and Satoshi Kojima against BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito in the main event, but missed the show due to illness. Yuji Nagata took his place.

New Japan has uploaded a new interview with Takagi ahead of his match against Ibushi for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Grand Slam on July 25 in the Tokyo Dome. The interview can be read here.

Dragon Gate

Dragon Gate held its ninth Hopeful Gate 2021 tour show today in Loisir Hotel Toyohashi.

The full results were:

• Genki Horiguchi, King Shimizu and U-T def. Ho Ho Lun, Naruki Doi and Takashi Yoshida
• Kagetora and Problem Dragon def. Punch Tominaga and Yasushi Kanda
• Dragon Dia, Jason Lee and La Estrella def. BxB Hulk, Dia Inferno and Diamante via DQ
• Kota Minoura and Shun Skywalker def. Funky Jacky Kamei and Kzy
• Ben-K, Dragon Kid, Keisuke Okuda and YAMATO def. Eita, H.Y.O, Kaito Ishida and SB KENTo

DDT Pro-Wrestling

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced the full card for DAMNATION’s show on July 26 in Shinjuku FACE.

The full card is:

• Chon Shiryu vs. Darkunesu K
• Hiroshi Yamato vs. Kikutaro
• Daiki Shimomura and Shigehiro Irie vs. Nobuhiro Shimatani and Soma Takao
• Leo Isaka vs. Tetsuya Endo
• Keizo Matsuda, Kengo Mashimo and Masashi Takeda vs. Kohei Sato, Mad Paulie and Yuji Hino
• Daisuke Sasaki vs. Minoru Fujita

Shuji Ishikawa was scheduled to team with Mad Paulie and Yuji Hino against Keizo Matsuda, Kengo Mashimo and Masashi Takeda in the fifth match, but will miss the show due to recovering from COVID-19. Kohei Sato will take his place.

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has announced the full card for its show on July 25 in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.

The full card is:

• Brahman Kei and Lekka vs. GENTARO and Tatsuhito Takaiwa
• Dragon Libre and Takashi Sasaki vs. Kengo and Yuya Susumu
• Mammoth Sasaki and Takahiro Katori vs. Tomoya Hirata and Toru Sugiura
• Deathmatch: Daisuke Masaoka vs. Kamui
• Deathmatch elimination: Jun Kasai, Kenji Fukimoto, Minoru Fujita and Rina Yamashita vs. Masashi Takeda, Takayuki Ueki, Toshiyuki Sakuda and Violento Jack
