HE'S BACK FOR SUMMERSLAM

Just days after completing production on HBO Max's Peacemaker in Canada, John Cena returned at Money in the Bank to confront WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, obviously setting up a Summerslam match between the two for 8/21 in Las Vegas.

With the exception of the Firefly Funhouse cinematic bout at Wrestlemania 36, that will be Cena's first match since January 2019.

Cena is slated to begin filming Matthew Vaughn's spy thriller Argylle this August, so don't expect Cena to be around for a long stretch of time.

As PWInsider.com has reported, WWE's intention is for Summerslam to effectively be "this year's Wrestlemania" so expect lots of other names popping up to bolster the show.
