SABIN VS. SWINGER & MORE: BTI - BEFORE THE IMPACT - REPORT

Welcome to the BTI - Before the Impact report on AXS TV.

Josh Mathews, Jon Burton and Gia Miller welcomed everyone to BTI.    They ran down the Slammiversary PPV lineup.

They showed highlights of last week's Sami Callihan vs. Kenny Omega contract signing.

They ran down the lineup of tonight's Impact Wrestling on AXS and the main event, featuring the four Hosses fighting.

They recapped last week's issues with the competitors involved in the Impact Tag Team Championship match at the PPV.

They recapped Gail Kim's appearance last week, setting up Deonna Purrazzo's mystery challenger at Slammiversary.

They showed highlights of last year's Slammiversary PPV.

The George the Iceman insider segment was based around whether the Deonna challenger could appear tonight.

Chris Sabin vs. Johnny Swinger

Sabin easily controlled Swinger early on.  He tried to escape but found himself being worked over again and again.  He thumbed Sabin in the eye but Sabin came back with some deep armdrags.  

Swinger went to the floor and his behind his Swingerellas.  He nailed Sabin as Sabin returned to the ring.  Sabin tried to nail a monkeyflip but Swinger held on and kicked him low on the mat.

Swinger turned him over into a single-leg Boston Crab.   Sabin fought his way to the ropes and made it, forcing a clean break.   Swinger nailed a big kneedrop and scored a two count.   Swinger went to the ropes for a supposed moonsault but got scared and tried to instead come off with a flying axehandle.  Sabin nailed him in the mid-section as he came off and was nailed with an inverted atomic drop.  Sabin used a La Magistral for a two count.  Sabin nailed an enziguiri and went for Cradleshock.  Hernandez saved Swinger.  Sabin took out Hernandez with a dive.  He returned with a Cradleshock and scored the pin.
