DREW PARKER GCW HOMECOMING, FREEDOMS IN KORAKUEN, DRAGON GATE'S HOPEFUL GATE TOUR & MORE FROM JAPAN

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has announced two new matches for its show on August 30 in Korakuen Hall.

First, Violento Jack will attempt his first defense of the King Of FREEDOM World Championship against Masashi Takeda in a deathmatch. Second, Jun Kasai will face Takayuki Ueki in a deathmatch.

FREEDOMS has announced the full card for its show on July 18 in Twin Messe Shizuoka.

The full card is:

• Dragon Libre and Lekka vs. Kengo and Yusaku Ito
• GENTARO vs. Hideki Sekine
• Kamui, Kenji Fukimoto, Minoru Fujita and Rina Yamashita vs. Mammoth Sasaki, Takahiro Katori, Takashi Sasaki and Yuya Susumu
• Deathmatch: Masashi Takeda and Toshiyuki Sakuda vs. Tomoya Hirata and Toru Sugiura
• Deathmatch: Daisuke Masaoka and Jun Kasai vs. Takayuki Ueki and Violento Jack

GENTARO versus Hideki Sekine is being presented as professional wrestling versus Bonsai Jiu Jitsu mixed martial arts. The match will take place with three three-minute rounds.

Sekine, a legitimate MMA fighter, is affiliated with the Bonsai Jiu Jitsu gym. His most recent fight was a victory against Seigo Mizuguchi in DEEP on February 21.

Lastly, FREEDOMS has announced it will hold a show in Yokohama Budokan on May 3, 2022. It will be FREEDOMS’ first show in the venue.

DDT Pro-Wrestling

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced the full card for its show on July 10 in Yokohama.

The full card is:

• Kazusada Higuchi and Yukio Sakaguchi vs. Shunma Katsumata and Yuya Koroku
• Danshoku Dieno and Yuki Iino vs. Toru Owashi and Yusuke Okada
• Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura and Yukio Naya vs. Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao, Tetsuya Endo and Yuji Hino
• Akito vs. Kazuki Hirata
• Antonio Honda vs. Mad Paulie
• Hideki Okatani, Jun Akiyama and Makoto Oishi vs. Konosuke Takeshita, MAO and Yuki Ueno

New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Shota Umino will make his in-ring return for British promotion Revolution Pro Wrestling at its show on July 18 in Bristol.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling

American promotion Game Changer Wrestling’s has announced Big Japan Pro Wrestling’s Drew Parker will return to America at its Homecoming shows on July 24 and 25 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Parker is scheduled to challenge Takumi Tsukamoto for the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Big Japan Pro Wrestling’s show on July 23 in Korakuen Hall.

Big Japan has announced Andy Wu, HUB and Ultimate Spider Jr. will attempt their first defense of the UWA World Trios Championships at its show on August 9 in Osaka.

Dragon Gate

Dragon Gate will hold its third Hopeful Gate 2021 tour show tomorrow in Nagoya Paloma Mizuho Arena.

The full card is:

• Funky Jacky Kamei, Genki Horiguci and King Shimizu vs. Kagetora, Keisuke Okuda and YAMATO
• Naruki Doi and Problem Dragon vs. Ryo Saito and Takashi Yoshida

JUST TAP OUT Professional Wrestling will hold its two-year anniversary show tomorrow in Korakuen Hall.

The full card is:

• Fire Katsumi vs. SEKIYA
• Black Chango, Black Eagle, Black the Dragon vs. Carbell Ito, EX Valion and Hyper Brave G Valion
• Aoi, rhythm and Yuu Yamagata vs. Misa Kagura, Sumika Yanagawa and YuuRI
• Akira Jo vs. Ryuya Takekura
• Independent Junior Heavyweight Championship and Young Dream Championship: Arata vs. Eagle Mask
• Aki Shizuku vs. Tomoka Inaba
• KANON and Ren Ayabe vs. Minoru Suzuki and TAKA Michinoku

Independent Junior Heavyweight Championship holder Arata and Young Dream Championship holder Eagle Mask will put both their titles on the line in a title-versus-title match.
