WWE NXT UK REPORT: WHO IS NEXT FOR MEIKO?, DEVLIN VERSUS A-KID, STARZ VERSUS BATE, AND MORE

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Isla Dawn versus Emilia McKenzie

McKenzie charges at Dawn in the corner and connects with knees. Dawn with a European uppercut. Dawn tries for an O’Connor Roll but McKenzie holds on to the ropes. McKenzie with an Irish whip and drop kick. McKenzie with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. McKenzie with a waist lock and Dawn with elbows. McKenzie with a waist lock and Dawn blocsk a German suplex but McKenzie with a belly-to-back suplex. Dawn goes to the apron.

Dawn with a shoulder from the apron and she drops McKenzie on the top rope. Dawn with forearms and an elbow to the back of the head for a near fall. McKenzie with punches but Dawn with a knee and a double knee drop for a near fall. Dawn goes for a suplex but McKenzie blocks it and Dawn gets a near fall with a rollup. Dawn with punches and she gets a near fall. McKenzie with punches but Dawn with a knee to the head and Dawn sends McKenzie to the floor.

Dawn goes to the apron and connects with a kick to the chest. Dawn sends McKenzie into the ringside barrier as the referee continues his count. Dawn misses a double knee strike and hits the ringside barrier. McKenzie with kicks and an enzuigiri and a running cutter for a near fall. McKenzie gets Dawn on her shoulders but Dawn sends McKenzie into the turnbuckles. McKenzie with a boot. McKenzie flips into the ring and Dawn with a knee to McKenzie. Dawn with a Saito suplex and she goes for a half and half suplex but McKenzie escapes and McKenzie with a spear for a near fall.

Dawn with a round kick to the temple and McKenzie is down. Dawn looks around for spiritual guidance and she then turns into Kitty Pride and tries to will Wolverine to time travel but McKenzie with a cross arm breaker. Dawn with a rollup for a near fall. McKenzie with a German suplex and a Shining Wizard for the three count.

Winner: Emilia McKenzie

We take a look back at last week’s main event and Ilja Dragunov’s confrontation with WALTER after the match.

Wolfgang and Mark Coffey are in the back and they are playing rock, paper, scissors. They are asked about their friendly rivalry. Mark says they each won a match and they are equal for now. Mark says he has an idea. Woflgang says that Mark is up to something.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Tyler Bate (with Trent Seven) versus Jack Starz for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship

Round One

They lock up and Bate with a side head lock take down and Starz with a head scissors. Bate escapes. They lock up and Bate with a wrist lock. Starz rolls through to escape the hold. They lock up and Bate with an arm bar. Starz with a front face lock but Bate holds on to the arm bar. Starz with a hip toss but Bate holds ona nd keeps control of the arm bar.

Starz with a front face lock but Bate holds on to the arm bar. Bate maintains the advantage with the arm bar. Starz with a head scissors but Bate with a fireman’s carry. Starz holds on to the ropes to avoid a drop kick and Starz with a rollup for a near fall. Starz with a drop kick. Bate with a drop kick for a near fall as the round ends.

Round Two

They lock up and Starz with a Europena uppercut. Bate with a punch and Starz with more European uppercuts. Bate with a back heel kick and Starz with an Irish whp. Bate with a double leg take down and rollup for the three count.

Round Three

They lock up and Bate with a cravate. Starz tries to roll through but Bate holds on to the cravate. Starz sends Bate into the turnbuckles and follows with a snap mare and shoulder tackles. Bate with a shoudler tackle but Starz with a running European uppercut and back bodyd rop. Starz misses a charge into the corner and Bate with a European uppercut. Starz with a European uppercut and a suplex for a near fall.

Bate with an airplane spin but Starz gets Bate up for an airplane spin of his own. Starz with a pop up European uppercut and Starz gets a near fall. Bate with a back slide and a La Magistral attempt but Starz blocks it and gets the three count.

Round Four

Starz blocks a rolling kick from Bate and tries for a Boston Crab and he gets Bate over. Bate tries to get to the ropes and Starz pulls Bate into the center of the ring. Bate widens Starz’ base and Bate escapes. Bate with a jab and punch to Starz. Bate with a rebound clothesline and a rolling kick to the head followed by Tyler Driver 97 for the three count.

Winner: Tyler Bate (retains Championship)

After the match, Bate applauds Starz’ effort in the match.

Mark Coffey makes his way to the ring and he applauds Tyler’s victory and gives him a thumbs up. Mark raises Tyler’s hand and then Mark with a jab to Bate and he leaves the ring.

Wolfgang tells Mark that was good.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a photo shoot for NXT UK Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly. Sid Scala shows up and he has something to say to them about Subculture’s challenge. Sid says they can have the match next week.
Sam and Lewis are not too keen on that idea and they tell Sid if Subculture wants a title match, they have to earn it.

Sid says that they can have an opportunity. Lewis will face Mark Andrews and if Mark wins, they get a tag title match.

We are back and NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura makes her way to the ring.

Meiko says three weeks ago she finally beat Kay Lee Ray. She is now the NXT UK Women’s Champion and this makes her very happy. She says NXT UK is now her home and she . . .

Nina Samuels interrupts and she makes her way to the stage.

She says she is here and the Nina Samuels Show is here before your very eyes. She says she is here to congratulate Meiko. You and Kay Lee Ray put on a hell of a show and you showed why NXT UK is the place to be. You stand here as the NXT UK Women’s Champion. Nina tells Meiko bravo.

Nina says NXT UK needs more Nina, but more importantly, Meiko Satomura needs more Nina. In order to live up to Kay Lee Ray’s title reign, you need a mega star like Nina Samuels to put Meiko on the map.
Amale attacks Nina from behind and sends her into the apron and ringside barrier. Amale sends Nina into the ring steps.

Amale says the world does not need more Nina, it needs hope. She says she is sick of the same girls every week. She says she is not here to congratulate Meiko, she is here to take her opportunities. Amale tells Meiko that she is her next opponent. Amale says that she is not here to play games and she does not care if Meiko is called the Final Boss.

Meiko punches Amale and says no more talking and that Amale gets her match.

We see Rampage Brown after his match last week and there is a knock on the door and Joe Coffey comes in and sits down next to him.

Joe says that settled nothing and Rampage laughs. Joe pats Rampage on the shoulder and leaves.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a video for Blair Davenport. She says she has wrestled all over the world. She says she has sacrificed everything to get where she is today. She gave up friends and family to get here. Blair Davenport has arrived in NXT UK.

Match Number Three: Aoife Valkyrie versus Mila Smidt

They lock up and Smidt goes for the leg and Valkyrie escapes. They lock up and Valkyrie with a take down and a near fall. Valkyrie with a front face lock. Smidt with a wrist lock and fireman’s carry for a near fall. Smidt with a front face lock but Valkyrie with an arm wringer and she continues to work on the arm. Valkyrie with an uppercut to the arm into an arm bar.

Valkyrie with a drop kick and arm drag into an arm bar. Smidt backs Valkyrie into the corner and gives a clean break. Valkyrie with a back elbow and Smidt with a judo throw and a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Valkyrie runs Smidt into the turnbuckles and Smidt with an Irish whip. Smidt with a monkey flip but Valkyrie with a cartwheel and palm strikes. Smidt with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and bridge for a near fall.

Jinny shows up on the stage and Valkyrie with a knee and kicks followed by a spinning heel kick. Valkyrie goes up top for a leg drop to the back fo the head and the three count.

Winner: Aoife Valkyrie

After the match, Jinny and Valkyrie stare each other down from a distance.

We take a look at Kenny Williams. He says the most resilient creature in the animal kingdom is the cockroach. The personification of the scum of the Earth. Nathan Frazer is a young lion and he wants to be the biggest star in NXT UK. Next week, he will wake himself up and the only thing that will survive is the scum of the Earth.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Trent Seven is at a press conference and Eddie Dennis shows up. He asks Trent how does it feel to be the bridesmaid. You lost the Heritage Cup to A-Kid and you lost to me at Takeover. You lost the weight and lost to Jordan Devlin.

Trent says he is happy that Eddie cares so much about him. Trent reminds Eddie about their match in York. He tells Eddie not to interrupt him when he is doing media.

Trent continues with the press conference.

Next week, Trent Seven faces Eddie Dennis.

Match Number Four: A-Kid versus Jordan Devlin

They lock up and Devlin with a wrist lock and A-Kid escapes. Devlin with a wrist lock and take down into a double wrist lock. A-Kid gets back to his feet but Devlin takes A-Kid back to the mat. A-Kid with a bridge and a head scissors. Devlin escapes and goes for a head scissors but A-Kid reapplies a head scissors. Devlin with a front face lock and A-Kid with a reversal. A-Kid with a cover but Devlin kicks out.

They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock but Devlin with a punch. A-Kid goes for the ankle but Devlin kicks A-Kid away. A-Kid with a single leg take down into a side head lock. Devlin gets back to his feet and A-Kid is sent into the corner. A-Kid with an arm drag and a take down for a near fall. Devlin with a near fall. Devlin with a monkey flip while in a knuckle lock and Devlin gets A-Kid on the ropes and Devlin pushes A-Kid to the floor.

Devlin slams A-Kid on the floor and Devlin returns to the ring. A-Kid gets back into the ring before the ten count and Devlin gets a near fall. Devlin with a forearm to the lower back. Devlin with a belly-to-back suplex and he gets a near fall. Devlin with a double stomp and then he works on the neck. Devlin with a knee to the back and a kick to the back. Devlin with a forearm to the lower back. Devlin goes for a belly-to-back suplex but A-Kid lands on his feet and A-Kid with a drop kick. A-Kid with a running kick into the corner.

A-Kid puts Devlin in the ropes and he drops the arm onto the top rope. Devlin with a slingshot cutter from the apron back into the ring and both men are down. Devlin with an Irish whip and A-Kid with an arm drag and drop kick. A-Kid goes for the leg and he hits a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. A-Kid with a front face lock into a guillotine and body scissors. Devlin gets back to his feet and Devlin goes for a suplex. A-Kid lands on his feet and A-Kid with a rollup and bridge for a near fall. Devlin with a near fall. A-Kid with a Northern Lights suplex and he goes for a standing moonsault but Devlin gets his knees up. Devlin with a uranage and he goes for a standing moonsault but A-Kid catches Devlin and applies a triangle.

Devlin gets to the ropes to force a break. A-Kid with a forearm and Devlin fires back. A-Kid with a kick. A-Kid with more kicks but Devlin with a snap mare. A-Kid goes for a sleeper and he locks it in. Devlin with a standing Spanish Fly and A-Kid goes for the Omoplata and he tries for the arm bar as well. Devlin gets his foot on the rope to force a break.

A-Kid with a forearm and Devlin with a punch. They go back and forth. A-Kid with the advantage but Devllin with chops. A-Kid with a punch to the jaw and he gets a near fall. A-Kid kicks the arm and he slaps Devlin. A-Kid with a German suplex and he holds on to the waist lock. Devlin tries to get to the ropes but A-Kid with another German suplex and he holds on.

Devlin with a head butt to A-Kid but Devlin falls to the floor. A-Kid with a suicide dive and Devlin hits the ringside barrier on the impact. A-Kid sends Devlin back into the ring but Devlin kicks the rope into A-Kid and A-Kid falls to the floor. Devlin moves the ring steps and A-Kid reverses an Irish whip into the steps but Devlin leaps over the steps and drop kicks the stairs into A-Kid’s knee. Devlin breaks the count and then hits an atomic drop to the knee on the ring steps. They return to the ring and Devlin signals it is over. Devlin sets for Devil Inside but A-Kid counters into a Code Red but A-Kid’s knee gives out. A-Kid goes for a jumping side kick and Devlin with a Cloverleaf. A-Kid gets to the ropes to force a break. A-Kid with the Omoplata and arm bar but Devlin escapes. Devlin bends the leg in an unnatural position and A-Kid taps out.

Winner: Jordan Devlin

After the match, the medical staff checks on both wrestlers.
