NWA POWERRR TV REPORT

BREAKING NEWS!  Joe Galli kicks off the show by announcing the Champions Series, a points based tournament.  NWA World's Champion Nick Aldis and NWA Women's World Champion Kamille are confirmed for the tournament.

Into the Fire leads us into tonight's episode, Joe Galli, Tim Storms and Velvet Sky are on the call.  

Jennicide w/Tarryn Terrel vs. Lady Frost

Lockup, arm twist by Jennicide, she scores a takedown.  Frost back to her feet but a snap mare for 1 by Jennacide.  Jennacide goes back to the arm, she throws Frost into the corner and misses a charge.  Frost with a dropkick to the leg and goes to the top. Terrel provides enough distraction, allowing Jennacide to knock her off the ropes. Vicious stomps by Jennacide, she works into an armbar.  Frost with a rollup for 1, JEnnacide with a big punch for the knockdown.  Terrel works over the injured arm while Jennicide distracts the referee.  Back to an armbar by Jennacide.  Frost powers out and sends Jennacide into the post for 2.  Boot to the face by Frost.  Frost to the ropes but gets forearmed and tombstoned for the pin.

WINNER: Jennacide

Terrel is very excited.

We see highlights from NWA High Voltage where Sal Rinaro became #1 contender for the NWA TV Title.

May Valentine is with Sal Rinauro and Danny Deals.  May and Sal hug.  Deals tries to commandeer the mic but May regains control of the interview.  Sal says he has sacrificed a lot to get here can't believe he's 3 seconds away from being a champion. Colby Corino attacks Sal and lays him out into the post.  Corino stalks him while May calls for security.  Colby with a brainbuster on the apron, THAT looked dangerous.  Medics tend to Sal.

Kyle Davis announces the NWA TV Title match has been postponed.  Here comes Austin Idol and Tyrus.  Idol puts Tyrus over and mocks Sal Rinauro as being a nothing.  They are declaring war on Pope, calling him gutless.  Here comes Pope. He wants Tyrus NOW.  Idol holds him back.  Tyrus thinks better of it and walks away.

 

The announce team is wondering why, after declaring war, Idol would hold Tyrus back.

Aron Stevens, Matthew Mims and Capt. Yuma vs. PJ Hawx, Luke Hawx and Kratos

This match is meant as an exhibition.  The storyline here is that NWA Tag Team Champions, Stevens and Kratos, are chatting in a neutral corner, not necessarily engaged in the match itself.  Luke Hawx and Mims kick things off with headlock takedowns and some mat wrestling.  Mims with a shoulder block takedown, into a bearhug/bodyslam combo.  Mims with a pair of armdrags.  Mims tags in Stevens in the neutral corner and the referee allows it.  After a few seconds, Mims tags back in.  PJ tags in, as does Yuma.  Yuma wants Kratos and Kratos gets tagged in.  I don't think this'll go well for Yuma.  Yuma bounds off the ropes and tries a shoulder block.  It does not go well.  Yuma fires away but Kratos knocks him silly with 1 forearm to the face.  Kratos suplexes him across the ring.

The Rebellion (Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf) come out to the desk and commandeer the mic and run down the champions. They then attack Yuma and an all out brawl takes place and the Rebellion run off

May Valentine is in the back with The War Kings.  They clearly are at odds as they disagree over the talent of Slice Boogie and Dane's actions towards the end of their grudge match match last week.  They're clearly not on the same page.  Dane has something personal to talk to Crimson about but it can't be today.

Kyle David brings out JTG and Chris Adonis for a face to face.  Next week, the two will meet for the vacant NWA National Title.  Thom Lattimer joins Adonis.  JTG is here for one reason: Gold.  Adonis claims that he is, in fact, still the National champion and that Strictly Business will be backing him up.  This brings out Mr. No Days Off, Fred Rosser, who offers to be in JTG's corner.

It's time for the debut of May Valentine's Heart 2 Heart.  She's with the Masked Mystery Man.  He is here because he's passionate about the sport of professional wrestling.  Mr. Corgan signed him personally and there's no need for anyone else to know anything about who he is.  The Masked Mystery Man is extremely well spoken.  His goal is to become a champion in the NWA.  Vocally he sounds exactly like a calm Don Callis.  Obviously it's not him but he sounds just like him.

May Valentine (who is all over this show) is with Thunder Rosa. Change is definitely in the air for Rosa.  She acknowledges Melina has helped her but as much as she loves her and has her back, Rosa is going to take the night off and NOT be in Melina's corner.

Kylie Rae vs. Melina

Rae wants a handshake but Melina shoves her off.  Lockup, Melina turns it into a side headlock.  At the desk, the announce teams reminds us about the August 28th Empowerrr PPV, the NWA's all women's event.  Front facelock by Melina, Kylie reverses it.  Melina counters with a headscissors.  Rollup for 2 by Kylie.  Vicious elbow to the mouth by Melina, followed by an eye poke.  Melina showing some viciousness here as she goes back to the eyes.  Melina with a hairpull takedown for 2.  Cross face forearms by Melina, she follows up with a stomp to the back.  Melina with a Dragon Sleeper but Kylie rolls her up for one. Rae fires back and bounds off the ropes but Melina stops her cold with a shoulder block.  DDT by Melina for 2.  Back elbow by Rae off of a charge.  Clothesline by Rae for 2.  Rae escapes a neckbreaker and knocks Melina out with a superkick for the pin.

WINNER: Kylie Rae
