Announced for Monday's Raw is WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Xavier Woods. So, two weeks after they fought inside Hell In A Cell, they are having a normal rudimentary singles match. It's non-title as well.
Drew McIntyre gave a tremendous interview on last night's edition of Raw Talk. We heard from a few readers that it was worth going out of the way to see and after watching it this AM, I absolutely agree. This was McIntyre presented as a serious athlete chasing a title and pushing himself to keep going as opposed to his recent Raw direction where he's spouting off Scottish history. How WWE isn't just presenting McIntyre the way he was seen last night on Raw Talk, I don't know.
Speaking of McIntyre, his recent WWE memoir is slated for a paperback release in February 2022.
Damian Priest returned to Raw last night. We are told he had been off TV dealing with some personal matters.
Since everyone has emailed asking, there was no clear indication backstage last night as to why Randy Orton was not Raw.
None of the NXT talents backstage worked Main Event this week. Taped for the episode were The Lucha House Party vs. Mace & T-Barr as well as Drew Gulak vs. Veer.
Former WWWF Champion Bob Backlund's excellent autobiography "Backlund: From All-American Boy to Professional Wrestling's World Champion" will be receiving a paperback release in March 2022. The book is the absolute best written accounting of what it was like to work for Vince McMahon Sr. as a top talent ever.
