THE ROCK SCORES AMAZON DEAL

Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks Productions are working with Amazon Studios who won a bidding war on what is termed a four-quadrant holiday action comedy called Red One developed by Hiram Garcia.

Dwayne Johnson will star in the film which is slated to begin filming in 2022 and a release date of 2023. 

Amazon is looking to exploit the IP in multiple different avenues, seeing this as a possible franchise for them.
