Deadline reported that F9 is heading for a 3-day total of $66.5 million at the box office, after doing $29.5 million on Thursday and Friday. They note that F9 did more business in its Thursday previews than Hobbs & Shaw did when it debuted($7.1 M to $5.8 M) and that was when everything was opened.
Deadline also reported that Dune will now open in theatres and debut on HBO Max on 10/22, so as to not go up against new James Bond movie No Time to Die opening on 10/8.
