As PWInsider.com broke last night, WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross, Scarlett and WWE NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed were brought to the Thunderdome in Tampa, Florida yesterday to work dark matches for WWE officials.
Kross wrestled Dolph Ziggler while Reed faced off with Bobby Roode. The bouts were taped for future evaluation and there are no current plans to use them for public consumption.
There was talk last night that Kross and Scarlett would be brought back next week, possibly to do some promos. We have not heard if there was a plan for Reed to do the same.
One of the reason the talents were brought in (and others could be brought in over the next few weeks) is that WWE has a Draft scheduled for September and is looking at different talents they can pull up from NXT to accentuate the main roster as they prepare to shake things up heading into the Fall.
