NEW JAPAN KICKS OFF KIZUNA ROAD, BIG JAPAN FINALLY CONTINUES DEATHMATCH SURVIVOR TOURNAMENT AND MORE FROM JAPAN

New Japan Pro Wrestling held its first Kizuna Road tour show today in Korakuen Hall.

The full results were:

• Minoru Suzuki def. Yuya Uemura
• Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Yota Tsuji
• Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano and YOSHI-HASHI def. Dick Togo, EVIL, Jado and Yujiro Takahashi
• Kazuchika Okada, SHO and YOH def. El Phantasmo, Gedo and and Taiji Ishimori
• BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito def. El Desperado, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Zack Sabre Jr.

After the main event, Shingo Takagi said his first defense of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kota Ibushi needs to take place on the biggest stage.

New Japan will hold its second Kizuna Road tour show tomorrow in Korkauen Hall. The full card is:

GLEAT

GLEAT held a show today in Basement Monstar.

The full results were:

• El Lindaman def. Rekka
• Keiichi Sato and Soma Watanabe def. Issei Onitzuka and T-Hawk

After El Lindaman defeated Rekka, Hayato Tamura came to the ring and challenged him to a match at GLEAT’s show on July 1 in Tokyo Dome City Hall.

The full show aired live on YouTube with various other segments, including the contract signing for Ryuichi Kawakami versus T-Hawk on July 1.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling

After several delays due to the state of emergency in Japan, Big Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the new dates for its Ikkitousen Deathmatch Survivor tournament.

The semifinals, Drew Parker and Violento Jack versus Hideyoshi Kamitani versus Ryuji Ito, will take place on June 24 in Shin-Kiba 1st King. The final will take place on June 28 in Korakuen Hall.

The Ikkitousen Deathmatch Survivor winner will challenge Takumi Tsukamoto for the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship on July 23 in Korakuen Hall. It will be Tsukamoto’s second defense of the title.

Lastly, Fuminori Abe and Takuya Nomura will attempt their second defense of the BJW Tag Team Championships against Daisuke Sekimoto and a mystery partner at Big Japan’s show on July 4 in Colega Studios.

Dragon Gate

Dragon Gate will hold its sixth Rainbow Gate 2021 tour show tomorrow in Sasebo Athletic Hall.

The full card is:

• Dragon Dia and Kota Minoura vs. Genki Horiguchi and Punch Tominaga
• Don Fujii, Ryo Saito and Yosuke Santa Maria vs. Dragon Kid, Kagetora and Ultimo Dragon
• KAI and SB KENTo vs. Keisuke Okuda and YAMATO
