F9 THE FAST SAGA hits theaters on June 24th, 2021. In anticipation of the 9th chapter, we are firing up the grills, stocking the fridge with Coronas, and getting the family back together for a glorious victory lap. Join us, and some of our FAST-obsessed friends, for an all-out 24-HOUR MARATHON.
The lineup will include all FAST films in the franchise (1-8), the Justin Lin directed Han origin story BETTER LUCK TOMORROW, HOBBS & SHAW, film introductions, preshows, postshows, trivia, games, prizes, and even a few surprises. Come for one film or stay and party the whole time, it’s your race to ride!
To Participate in the marathon you will need to buy or rent the 10 titles and join us in the Scener theater on SATURDAY, JUNE 19th, 2021, for as many of the Watch Parties as you would like. We have a full 24-hour schedule so you can pick and choose your level of commitment.
Are you a superfan? Never seen a single FAST Film? Maybe you just want more excitement in your life? Whatever your reasoning, we applaud you. Anyone wishing to enter the marathon zoom call and complete the full marathon in 24-hours with us will be entered to win the ultimate FAST AND FURIOUS prize package, and leave with definitive bragging rights, because it doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or win by a mile, winning is winning.
The marathon will begin at 12 pm CT on 6.19.21 and all contest participants must register at least 24 hours in advance.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WATCH PARTY AND THE CONTEST?
WATCH PARTY: To participate in the Watch Party, buy or rent the film(s) you want to watch and join the Scener at any time during the 24 hours to watch the movie, talk about your favorite moments in the chat with your film fam, listen to some special intros, participate in trivia for prizes, and find out out how successful our Fast & Furious themed recipes turn out.
CONTEST: Take it a step further and commit to being ON ZOOM for 24 hours (bathroom breaks provided of course) in an attempt to win the ultimate Fast & Furious prize package. Film out the form here (limited number of spots available!) - The Watch Party will occasionally throw to the Zoom to see how ya’ll are hanging in there.
-Buy or Rent one or more of the 10 films. (Don’t watch them yet!!!)
-Go to scener.com/get in your Chrome browser and follow directions to “Get Scener” and add the Scener extension
-On June 19th, click the “JOIN THE PARTY” button on your film page and join us in the Scener theater at the time when your film/s are beginning. (12 pm CT/10 am PT for the first film)
-To enter the marathon Zoom for the Grand Prize, fill out this form.
-You will get an email before the show inviting you to Our Virtual Alamo Drafthouse Theater, and recommending lost of themed foods and drinks to enjoy during the films.
-Click “Join Party” to jump into the theater.
