DEONNA PURRAZZO TO MAKE AAA IN-RING DEBUT NEXT MONTH

Impact Wrestling’s Deonna Purrazzo has announced she will face Lady Shani at Lucha Libre AAA World Wide’s Verano de Escandalo show on July 3.

It will be Purrazzo's first match for AAA. The Impact Knockouts Championship holder debuted at Rey de Reyes on May 2 in a surprise appearance to join the commentary team.

Shani initially challenged Purrazzo to a match after Triplemanía XXIX on August 14 – where Purrazzo will face AAA Reina de Reinas Championship holder Faby Apache in a title-versus-title match. Purrazzo, however, said (in the video message attached in the tweet above) there is no need to wait until after Triplemanía.  Purrazzo was pure heel in the promo.
