6/1/21 Results for New Japan's Road to Dominion from Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Japan:

In opening video, they announced the following:

At Korakuen Hall on June 2, 2021 -

NEVER Openweight 6-man Championship:   Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI, and Hirooki Goto vs. Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI and SANADA

Dominion on June 6, 2021 -

1.  IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship:  YOH vs. El Desperado.

2.  Special Single Match:  Jeff Cobb vs. Kota Ibushi

3.  IWGP World Heavyweight Championship:   Kazuchika Okada vs. Shingo Takagi

Match Results:

Yuya Uemura, YOH and SHO vs. Minoru Suzuki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado.  After a month out of the ring, Suzuki-Gun came to hurt someone in this match.    At one point, Suzuki trapped both SHO and Uemura in a double ankle lock submission.   Both teams have ring rust as their timing was a bit off.  YOH hit a flying elbow on Desperado, but his whole body weight came down on Desperado's head.  Very dangerous.   When Uemura tagged in to face Desperado, they were running in different directions with looked awkward.  Desperado hit Uemura with a right hand and followed up with Pinche Loco.   Desperado pins Uemura.

El Phantasmo, Taiji Ishimori, Chase Owens and EVIL, with Dick Togo vs. Tomoaki Honma, Ryusuke Taguchi, Tiger Mask and Hiroshi Tanahashi.  Good match with comedy spots.   Fine for what it was.    ELP picked up Tiger Mask in a UFO spin.  Ishimori hits Tiger Mask with a Bloody Cross.   Ishimori pins Tiger Mask.

As Bullet Club left ringside, ELP stated he was in his hotel room for 31 days but still looks great.   That is a rough schedule for foreign wrestlers.

Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb vs. Yota Tsuji and Kota Ibushi.  The pairing Tsuji and Ibushi in this match tells me that New Japan is working with a skeleton crew.     O-Khan pins Tsuji with the Eliminator.

Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto and Kazuchika Okada vs. Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, SANADA and Shingo Takagi.  YOSHI-HASHI hits a superkick on SANADA and Goto rolls him up for a pin.  Both teams have words before their title match tomorrow.  Shingo points to Okada ahead of their showdown at Dominion.

IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship:   Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga, with Jado.  Miho Abe returns!    She leads Dangerous Tekkers to the ring.   She is genuinely emotional as she accompanies her team to ringside for the first time since COVID-19.   A nice applause from the crowd for Miho Abe.    DOUKI appears at ringside.    The referee tells both DOUKI and Jado to leave ringside, which they do.   Miho remains at ringside.

Taichi attacks first by choking Tama.  Tanga tries to interfere and gets choked too.   Match goes to the floor.   Tanga battles ZSJ.   Taichi goes after Tama.   Tama grabs Miho Abe around the neck and threatens to punch her.   Taichi stops and screams at Tama.  ZSJ gets thrown into the guardrails and he is holding his back.   Taichi gets hit from behind by Tanga.  G.O.D. beat down Taichi in front of a crying Miho.    

Suzuki-Gun fights back.   Miho Abe leads the cheers.    Taichi rips off the pants and tries to rally.   Tanga locks him in Operation Jado Killer.  Taichi gets to the ropes.   ZSJ tags in and traps Tama in an Octopus Lock.   Tama reverses out and hits a Tonga Twist.   ZSJ fights back and gets an arm submission on Tama.   Jado runs to the ring to interfere with the referee.  Gedo enters the ring with his brass knuckles.   DOUKI rushes to the ring and trips on the top rope, but he recovers and knocks Gedo out of the ring.   DOUKI attacks Jado.   ZSJ is hyperextending the arms of Tama, while Tanga throws Taichi into the guardrail.   Tama refuses to give up.   Tanga stomps on ZSJ and hits a powerslam on him.   

DOUKI drags Jado back to the locker room.    

Tama is favoring his arms after getting stretched out by ZSJ.   G.O.D. hit a powerbomb neckbreaker on ZSJ.  Taichi breaks it up.   G.O.D. hit a Magic Killer on Taichi.    Tanga with a top rope headbutt on ZSJ.  Tama with a frog splash on ZSJ.   ZSJ kicks out at two.    G.O.D. attempt a Super Powerbomb on ZSJ but he reverses into a Frankensteiner.  Taichi hits a double Pumping Bomber on G.O.D.   Tama takes a Punt Kick to the chest by ZSJ.   Tekkers hit Zack Mephisto on Tanga.    Tama with  low blow on Taichi.  Tama goes for a Gun Stun on ZSJ who catches him in a sleeper.  Taichi his a high kick to Tama's head.    

Tekkers hit Holy Zack Driver to Tama Tonga.   Zack pins Tama Tonga.   

Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship!

Awesome match.   This was a good climax of feud which started last year at World Tag League.  Taichi looked really good despite getting sick.  The return of Miho Abe was a nice touch.    Kanemaru come to the ring to celebrate.  

Despite the loss, Guerillas of Destiny deserve credit.   They were a cornerstone of this company during a pandemic.   They also won World Tag League and got a win at Wrestle Kingdom.   They have nothing to be ashamed of.

ZSJ takes the mic and says that Dangerous Tekkers are best tag team in the world.   Taichi addresses the crowd.   Zack and Taichi give their belts to Miho to hold.   Taichi hugs Miho and she cries tears of happiness.

In the interview area, ZSJ puts over how good G.O.D. is, but makes his normal heelish remarks.  ZSJ also challenges any team in Japan for their IWGP titles.    This could hint at a inter-promotional match between other Japan wrestling companies.
