WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH SET FOR HELL IN A CELL 2021

Drew McIntyre defeated Kofi Kingston to earn a WWE Championship match against Bobby Lashley at the 2021 Hell In A Cell PPV on Sunday 6/20, the final WWE PPV inside the Thunderdome.

This would be the third straight PPV the two have faced off.  Lashley’s interference led to McIntyre losing the WWE title to the Miz.  Lashley defeated Miz a week later on Monday Night Raw.  Since then, Lashley has defeated McIntyre by referee’s decision at Wrestlemania 37 and also retained at Wrestlemania Backlash in a Triple Threat match against McIntyre and Braun Strowman.

Should McIntyre win at the PPV, it will be his third WWE Championship win since Wrestlemania 36.
