SUMMERSLAM LOCATION, BIG TRIPLE THREAT ON NXT, BRET HART BIOGRAPHY, OWENS VS. CREED AND MORE WWE NOTES

The latest Broken Skull Sessions with The Godfather is now streaming on Peacock and the WWE Network.

There will be an official announcement for the 8/21 Summerslam venue on NBC's 2021 Belmont Stakes’ pre-race show this Saturday 6/5.  The smart money is on Las Vegas.

Scheduled for tomorrow's edition of WWE NXT is Johnny Gargano vs. Pete Dunne vs. Kyle O'Reilly in a Triple Threat match with the winner moving on to challenge for the WWE NXT Championship at Takeover: In Your House 2021 as well as  WWE NXT Tag Team Champions MSK vs. Legado del Fantasma's Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza.

WWE's The Bump returns this Wednesday morning on Peacock, The WWE Network and the company's social media platforms.

Noam Dar vs. Ilja Dragonuv is set for NXT UK this Thursday.

Headlining this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown is WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews vs. Kevin Owens  with Commander Azeez is barred from ringside as well as WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions Dominik & Rey Mysterio vs. Jey & Jimmy Uso.  This is the first time the Usos, together, challenge for the Smackdown Tag Titles dating back to the 2020 Elimination Chamber PPV.

This Sunday's WWE Biography on A&E, closing out the run, will feature Bret Hart.  Promotional material for the doc notes, "Biography: WWE Legends presents “Biography: Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart.” Directed by George Roy (“The Curse of the Bambino,” “Mayweather,” HBO “Mantle”), the film tells the story of Bret Hart, one of the greatest technical athletes in WWE history, earning him nicknames “The Hit Man” and “The Excellence of Execution.” Throughout his storied career, the five-time WWE title holder famously defeated “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Ric Flair and Yokozuna, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006."

This Sunday's episode of WWE's Most Wanted Treasures features a reunion of The Dream Team.   The plot - "Every WWE fan of the 1980's remembers Brutus The Barber Beefcake and his signature sheers. Reuniting with his former tag team partner, Greg The Hammer Valentine, this legendary Dream Team sets out to find Brutus's quintessential clippers."
