WWE announced some Supershow house show events, which I have heard you say many times that they should do, rather than running two brand only shows that draw less.  Do you think this is their new way of doing house shows going forward?

I can’t say for sure that it will be, all I can say is that it should be.  It makes more sense to run one show with more marquee talent than the two poorly drawing shows that they were doing.  The branded shows have not done well for a while.  Maybe they can turn it around a bit with top matches from both brands on the shows.

What was the point of Tony Khan cutting the promo on Nick Khan?

Well, to the hardcore fans of AEW, they probably thought it was great for him to “put WWE in their place”, or something like that.  If they buy into the Forbidden Door concept, they loved it.

Was it just me or did Khan come across as a thin skinned person who should have shown better discretion before releasing that?

It wasn’t just you.  I felt the same way.  I think it shows that he is easy to rankle and that is the last thing you want to show Vince McMahon.  Personally, I think it was a bad look for him.

Here is what I don’t understand about it.  If he already has a working agreement with New Japan, why did he need to ramble on the way he did?

I don’t understand that either so I can’t answer.  He knows what his relationship with New Japan is.  And he wondered about the rumored meeting that they had with WWE, call them and talk about it.  I don’t see the point of doing what he did publicly.

How do you think WWE will react about this?

Publicly?  I don’t see them saying a word.  Privately?  Well like I said above, they now know how easy it is to get under his skin and they know how to do it if they choose to going forward.
