Watching the Steve Austin A&E documentary, it sparked the synapses in my brain and made me think about the angle where Austin was hit by the car. Was it always going to be Rikishi as the culprit?
I am sure there were others who were pitcjhed as being responsible. I remember there was talk of it being Triple H at one time, but Rikishi made sense in that it gave everyone a true surprise twist and gave Austin a return match without giving away a big match against Rock, HHH, etc.
Did Austin really take the bump?
He was going in for surgery for neck fusion, so I certainly think not.
If you could book John Cena's retirement match, who should it be against?
It depends. Do you want to make a new star? Then pick someone from NXT you want to elevate. If not, then have him close out with one final match against Randy Orton.
I am catching up with Dark Side of the Ring via Discovery+. I was wondering, had Bruiser Brody not died before his time so tragically, do you think he would have done a WWF run with Hulk Hogan at some point?
Brody was all about making money. WWF was where the most money a main event wrestler could make at that time was, so, while you can never say 100%, I am pretty sure Brody would have fit the Hogan vs. evil monsters theme that a lot of Hogan's first run had, so I can see it. Like Terry Funk, Brody could have done it and retained his credibility by returning to Japan.
Did we really need a Tyrus book?
Apparently you don't but others may feel differently. I cannot believe I am writing this, I really cannot, but don't judge a book by it's cover. I really, really blame you for making me write that.
