Tokyo Sports is reporting that Japanese legend Meiko Satomura is moving permanently to Great Britain for the WWE NXT UK brand in advance of her scheduled bout against Champiion Kay Lee Ray.
Satomura signed with WWE in January 2021 as both a wrestler and a Coach for the UK Performance Center.
Back in October 2020, it was announced that Satomura would be limiting her appearances for her Sendai Girls promotion in order to work for WWE in London. Satomura participated in the second Mae Young Classic in 2018. She defeated Killer Kelly, Mercedes Martinez and Lacey Lane before losing the eventual tournament winner Toni Storm in the semifinal.
Satomura has also competed for companies such as PROGRESS Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling: EVE and Fight Club: PRO in England.
