Deadline.com reported this evening that WWE Studios also saw heavy cuts today with its film, TV and digital divisions all seeing staffers cut with everything being reorganized under one streamlined division. Their report stated that WWE President Nick Khan personally informed everyone in the Los Angeles and Stamford offices.
Deadline's report stated that they did not have complete details on how many departed.
In reaching out to someone in the Studios division tonight, PWInsider was told it was "a bloodbath" for the division.
WWE Studios' next project, the animated feature film Rumble has been pushed back several times to January 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
