The car then hit the curb before colliding a "free-standing bathroom" next to a bus station.
Bagwell was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA with serious injuries. The announcement notes, "Investigators believe Bagwell was impaired by prescription medication during the collision."
It would appear his arrest on 5/21 is related to the August 2020 incident, but that is not 100% confirmed. PWInsider.com has reached out to the Cobb County Sheriff's office for clarity.
Bagwell had a long run with WCW from the early 1990s through the demise of the promotion in 2001. He performed for WWE very briefly in 2001. He last wrestled in March at an independent event in Georgia. In 2012, Bagwell was hospitalized with broken bones in his jaw, neck and face after flipping his jeep in Georgia when going into a seizure while driving.
