Kazuchika Okada has revealed he tested positive for COVID-19.

Okada was among the wrestlers pulled from the second night of Wrestling Dontaku on May 4 due to COVID-19 precautions. There were eventually nine publicly confirmed (but anonymous) positive cases, Okada being one of them.

Okada is yet to make his in-ring return. He was scheduled to challenge Will Ospreay for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at the second night of Wrestle Grand Slam on May 29 in the Tokyo Dome but the show was postponed and Ospreay has since vacated the title due to a neck injury.
