ANDRADE'S FIRST POST-WWE MATCH SET

Former WWE star Andrade has been announced for two independent wrestling shows in California next month, which will seemingly be his first matches since his release.

Andrade will first face lucha libre icon El Hijo del Santo at a RGR Lucha Libre show on June 12 in Anaheim, California.

Andrade’s uncle, Jesús Andrade, wrestled Santo throughout the 1980s and 90s as Espanto Jr. and Pentagón (unrelated to current All Elite Wrestling star Penta El Zero M).

Andrade is also advertised for another show in Los Angeles on June 13 the next day. Tickets for the show are available via Tickeri here.

Andrade was released from his WWE contract in March. He debuted for Lucha Libre AAA World Wide at its Rey de Reyes show on May 2 and is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemanía XXIX on August 14.
