New Japan Pro Wrestling held its first Road to Wrestle Grand Slam tour show today in Nagoya Congress Center.

Shota Umino was set to reunite on Jon Moxley on NJPW STRONG but plans were scuppered due to injury, according to Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso.

Moxley and Umino were scheduled to face Ren Narita and Yuji Nagata, but Moxley instead requested Chris Dickinson as his partner when Umino was unable to wrestle. Barrasso’s full report can be read here.

Narita and Rocky Romero are both set to compete on Monday’s episode of All Elite Wrestling’s Dark: Elevation show. Narita will face Royce Isaacs while Romero will face J.D. Drake.

DDT Pro-Wrestling

DDT Pro-Wrestling will hold a show tomorrow in Kobe.
