Who was the first ECW World champion? WWE lists Jimmy Snuka but I thought it was Shane Douglas???

It was technically Shane. The Eastern Championship Wrestling title was the ECW championship. When Shane Douglas, then the ECW champion, won the NWA title and tossed it down in a tournament in August 1994, he declared the ECW belt the ECW World championship and himself the "new" champion. The reality is that while the same belt was used (well, until 1997 anyway), they should be considered two different championships - at least in my opinion.

I heard you talk about what the legacy of ECW was when an Elite member asked and you said a big part of it was that ECW brought “cool” back to wrestling at the time.  I was shocked neither you nor Dave Scherer mentioned the legacy of the company breaking down the walls for PPV, opening things up for the companies that followed given that they were the only company to launch PPVs and not immediately fall apart and shut down in the aftermath.  Thoughts?

I wouldn’t argue that fact.  They ran, I believe, 20 PPVs and certainly helped set the stage for others to have that opportunity where before it was a WWF/WCW stronghold.

Whatever happened to Jesse Ventura’s old Conspiracy TV series?

The show ran for 22 episodes over three seasons before being canceled in 2013 with the final episode, which was to focus on the TSA, never airing for reasons that were never truly explained.

Off the top of your head, best Wrestlemania of all time?

Off the top of my head, Wrestlemania 17.

In a hair vs. hair match, is one of the wrestlers in the match asked will they shave their head bald or do they say they're going to shave their hair so they thought they might put it into a storyline?

It's a mixture of both, depending on the situation.  In some cases, wrestlers want to shave their heads.  In some, the promoters will negotiate a price for them to lose their hair.  It all depends on the situation.

Why is Ric Flair on all these Car Shield commercials?

They paid him.

Where’s Rick Martel?

He’s in Canada and has turned down all overtures in recent years for wrestling appearances and interviews.  He’s made a clean break and you have to respect that.
