REEL RUMBLE 2021 AT MAHONING DRIVE-IN NIGHT ONE NOTES & NEWS

As noted yesterday, The Mahoning Drive-In in Lehighton, PA held night one of their 2021 Reel Rumble last night, featuring a number of pro wrestling related films.

The Lehigh Valley Athletics Council held four live matches before the sun set and the official festivities began:

The night opened with several pro wrestling film trailers running, including Hulk Hogan's No Holds Barred and Jack Black's Nacho Libre.

The first film was a 35 screening of Roddy Piper's They Live.

During intermission, they played music from The Wrestling Album and Randy Savage's rap CD.

The second film, a mystery screening, was Roddy Piper's Hell Comes To Frogtown.

After Frogtown, as a surprise, the following ran on the Mahoning's drive-in screen:

-An old WWE Home Video recapping old Wrestlemania highlights voiced over by Gorilla Monsoon and  Jim Ross and hosted by Vince McMahon:

-Randy Savage Wrestlemania 4 Tournament with an interview of Macho Man.

-Highlights of Wrestlemania 5: Andre the Giant vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts with Big John Studd as the guest referee.

-Ultimate Warrior vs. Rick Rude Wrestlemania 5 Highlights.

-Randy Savage vs. Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania 5 Highlights.

The festivities continue tomorrow with screenings of Barry Blaustein's Beyond the Mat documentary and Hulk Hogan's Mr. Nanny as well as a second card from LVAC, which will feature:

*The World Famous CB vs. Blank.

*Orange Cassidy in action.

*Ultramantis Black & Haunted Francis & Green Ant & Mach 10 vs. Matt Makowski & Skylar & Big Dan Champion & 

*Kaia McKenna & Megabyte Ronnie & Puf vs. Abby Jane & Cloudy & Krist Worthless

*Riley Shepard vs. Molly McCoy

Additional Notes: All of the LVAC talents signed after their matches...The promotion gave away free t-shirts to those who pre-purchased tickets for both nights of the event...There was a raffle for a collection of unopened WWF Coliseum Home Video releases....The Mahoning had a special "Bodyslam" burger on the menu for the weekend:
