We start off with the comments from last week from Tyler Bate and A-Kid about the Heritage Cup Title Match on this week’s show.
We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.
Match Number One: Rampage Brown versus Wolfgang
They lock up and Wolfgang with a cravate and snap mare for a near fall. Brown with a cravate and Wolfgang escapes. Brown and Wolfgang exchange forearms. Brown with a drop kick. Brown with more forearms and Wolfgang with forearms of his own. Wolfgang with a drop kick. Wolfgang with a hard Irish whip. Wolfgang with forearms. Brown pushes Wolfgang away and then Wolfgang misses a cross body and goes to the apron. Brown with a boot to send Wolfgang to the floor.
Wolfgang with punches but Brown with forearms. Wolfgang gets Brown on his shoulders and Wolfgang sends Brown shoulder first into the ring post. Wolfgang breaks up the referee’s count and returns to the floor. They go back and forth with forearms before they return to the ring. Brown with a kick and forearms. Wolfgang with a hard Irish whip and a side slam for a near fall. Wolfgang with a seated abdominal stretch and then he turns it into a body scissors. Brown gets out of the hold with an elbow to the knee and forearms.
Brown and Wolfgang with forearms. Wolfgang with Shadows over Hell for a near fall. Brown avoids a slam attempt and Brown with a Samoan drop. Wolfgang holds on to the ropes and Brown cannot Irish whip Wolfgang. Wolfgang with a spear for a near fall. Wolfgang with a seated abdominal stretch but Brown with a hip toss. Wolfgang with a punch to the ribs but he runs into a knee. Brown sends Wolfgang shoulder first into the turnbuckles and follows with a clothesline and then he hits the Doctor Bomb for the three count.
Winner: Rampage Brown
We see Tyler Bate in the back with Trent Seven as he prepares for his match against A-Kid.
We go to footage from the UK Performance Centre and Ashton Smith is asked about being a new father. He says it is difficult to be away from his family but that has given a new lease on life.
He is congratulates and he is told to enjoy his time with his family. He is asked where is Oliver.
Aoife Valkyrie has what success is in her head and she knows that failure is a part of success. If you learn from defeat you haven’t lost. It means you have to work harder. She says no one tells a bird how high they can fly. A person can be as great as they want to be. You have to look at what is next. I have looked inward and now I can look forward and fly.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rampage Brown is walking in the back and he is asked about his injuries.
Gallus is walking down the other side of the hallway and they stop Rampage.
Joe says they have some unfinished business, but he will give Rampage time to heal up. When you are ready, I will come find out.
Match Number Two: Xia Brookside versus Amale
Amale tries to get to the ropes so Brookside has to stay back. Brookside with forearms. Xia with a drop kick and she goes for a monkey flip and sends Amale across the ring. Brookside gets a near fall. Brookside with a wrist lock and she works on the arm and kicks Amale in the ribs. Amale backs Xia into the ropes and then Amale pulls Xia to the floor and she sends Xia into the apron and then into the ringside barrier.
They return to the ring and Xia with a shoulder but Amale with forearms and kicks. Amale with a slam and elbow drop for a near fall. Brookside kicks Amale away and then Amale kicks Xia in the corner and connects with a face wash to Xia. Amale gets a near fall. Amale with an Irish whip and back elbow into the corner for a near fall. Xia with shoulders but Amale with another hard Irish whip.
Xia with forearms but Amale with a forearm. Amale pushes Xia into the corner but misses a splash. Brookside with a drop kick.
Brookside with a forearm and head scissors take down. Xia with a running neck breaker for a near fall. Amale with a forearm and a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Amale with an Irish whip but Xia with boots in the corner. Xia goes to the turnbuckles but Amale pulls Xia off the turnbuckles. Amale with a spinebuster for the three count.
Winner: Amale
We see A-Kid preparing in the back for his match against Tyler Bate.
Sha Samuels is in the break room and he is asked a few questions but he says he does not care.
Nathan Frazer shows up and Sha says he doesn’t have time for him.
Nathan says that Sha has been sticking his nose in his business.
Sha says that Nathan doesn’t want to fight him and he isn’t a threat. He says if he wants to see him fight, he needs to get a grown up.
Nathan asks if Sha is only fighting Noam Dar’s battles.
Nathan challenges Sha to a match for next week and Sha tells him to get it done.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look back at the Gauntlet Match to determine Kay Lee Ray’s next opponent.
Meiko Satomura wants to know what the deal was with the kick and she says she won’t forget it.
It is time for the Supernova Sessions with Noam Dar.
Noam welcomes everyone and he says he can barely contain his excitement for tonight’s guest, Ilja Dragunov.
Noam says he wants to do something different. He is concerned about the issues that Ilja is dealing with so he is giving Ilja a safe space. He welcomes us to Supernova Spa.
We get some waterfalls on the screens and some soothing music while Noam puts on a robe. Noam cannot find Ilja’s at first but he gives him one with dinosaurs on it.
Noam tells Ilja that holding on to anger is like drinking poison and he wants to know where did the rage start. Did it happen when you lost to WALTER?
Ilja says that it is great that Noam knows him so well. Ilja says he lost something in that match. Not just not winning the title. He says he started to feel suffering and he went after anyone in his way.
Noam tells Ilja to breathe.
Ilja says he is not that person any more.
Noam asks Ilja if he is no longer angry. Is breaking Dave Mastiff’s nose not anger?
Noam gives Ilja a gift to deal with this. He gives Ilja a therapy dog for Ilja to deal with stress and go to a happy place.
Ilja says this is so funny and Noam is funny. He says that Noam is like a clown and this is a circus. Ilja says that his position is violence. I have changed and if you invite me here to trigger me, I can still hurt you and I can hurt very very bad.
Noam says that is what he is talking about. Ilja is in denial and he calls him a fake. He says he knows that Ilja is scared of WALTER and you are scared of me. I can send you to another dimension in the ring.
Ilja leaves but he comes back to get his dog.
We see Sam Gradwell at the Performance Centre and he looks for Sid Scala.
Sam says this is the most hostile work environment. He says he was assaulted last week by Trent Seven. He does not want to press charges, but he wants payback.
Sid says he will talk to Mr. Saint and Sam tells him to do it.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sid Scala announces two matches.
In two weeks, Noam Dar will face Ilja Dragunov and Rampage Brown will face Joe Coffey.
Match Number Three: Tyler Bate (with Trent Seven) versus A-Kid for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship
Round One
They lock up and Bate with a wrist lock and A-Kid with a head scissors and Bate escapes. A-Kid with a snap mare and Bate with a wrist lock. A-Kid with a take down and Bate with a head scissors and A-Kid escapes. They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Bate with a wrist lock take down. Bate with a leg trip.
A-Kid with a reversal but Bate with a take down and A-Kid holds on to the wrist lock. A-Kid with an arm bar and chin lock. Bate rolls through and gives A-Kid a monkey flip but A-Kid holds on to the wrist lock. Bate wit a snap mare but A-Kid holds on to the wrist lock. Bate with another snap mare and A-Kid holds on to the wrist lock. Bate uses the ropes for leverage and he escapes.
Round Two
They lock up and A-Kid with a side head lock take down. Bate with a rollup for a near fall. Bate with a forearm to the ribs and Bate with a snap mare. A-Kid with a wrist lock and Bate tries to escape but A-Kid holds on to the wrist lock. Bate finally escapes. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and A-Kid with a side head lock.
Bate with a head scissors. A-Kid with a boot to try to get out and A-Kid is able to escape and he applies a modified Cattle Mutilation before turning it into a surfboard. Bate tries to reverse or escape but A-Kid holds on. Bate tries to reverse but A-Kid holds on. Bate with a kick. They lock up and A-Kid with a side head lock as the round ends.
Round Three
They lock up and Bate with a wrist lock into an arm bar and hammer lock. A-Kid gets back to his feet and he reverses the wrist lock. Bate with a side head lock. Bate goes through the legs and then he leaps frogs A-Kid. He tries to go through the legs but A-Kid with a sleeper. Bate with a snap mare and A-Kid bridge up. A-Kid with a snap mare and he gets a near fall when Bate bridges. Bate with a snap mare and a near fall but A-Kid bridges.
Bate with a back slide for a near fall. A-Kid with a bow and arrow but Bate with a lateral press for a near fall. Bate kicks A-Kid away and A-Kid with a forearm for a near fall. Bate backs A-Kid into the ropes and Bate with a break but A-Kid with a forearm. Bate with a forearm that sends A-Kid to the floor. A-Kid with a waist lock and take down. Bate with elbows and A-Kid holds on. Bate holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt. Bate with a punch and a back heel kick. Bate goes after A-Kid and both men go over the top rope to the floor and the round ends.
Round Four
Bate with a running back elbow into the corner as the round starts. A-Kid blocks an exploder and bate with punches. A-Kid with forearms and Bate with punches. A-Kid with a kick and he goes for the legs. A-Kid with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. A-Kid blocks a kick and Bate with a knee lift. Bate goes for a European uppercut off the turnbuckles but A-Kid catches him and gets a near fall with a back slide. A-Kid tries for an omoplata but Bate rolls through and gets A-Kid on his shoulders for an airplane spin. A-Kid with a sleeper.
A-Kid with a running kick to the chest for a near fall. A-Kid returns to the sleeper. A-Kid gets on Tyler’s back to add more pressure. Bate backs A-Kid into the turnbuckles. A-Kid comes off the turnbuckles but Bate with a European uppercut. Bate goes for a suplex but A-Kid counters into a guillotine. A-Kid takes Bate to the mat and adds a body scissors. Bate gets back to his feet and he hits a brainbuster but the round ends while the referee makes the count.
Round Five
A-Kid with a kick to the leg and they return to the Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. Bate with a forearm and a take down for a near fall. A-Kid is able to power out of a cover and then he bridges. A-Kid comes off the ropes and bate catches A-Kid and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Bate sets for the Tyler Driver but A-Kid with a back drop for a near fall and Bate bridges out of the hold. Bate with a Tyler Driver for a near fall.
Bate goes to the turnbuckles for a Spiral Tap but A-Kid moves. A-Kid goes for a cross arm breaker but Bate with forearms to escape the hold. A-Kid with an omoplata and Bate tries to block it. A-Kid pulls at the other arm and stretches it but Bate is able to fight through the pain until the round ends.
Round Six
Before the final round starts, Bate tells Seven to promise he won’t thrown in the towel and Bate says he is okay.
The round starts and A-Kid misses a knee in the corner and hits the turnbuckles. A-Kid misses a drop kick. A-Kid with an ankle pick but Bate kicks A-Kid. Bate with a rebound clothesline and he tries for the Tyler Driver but A-Kid counters with a rana. A-Kid avoids a rolling kick and Bate with a forearm. A-Kid with a super kick and Bate with a rollup for the three count.
Winner: Tyler Bate (New Champion)
After the match, Trent Seven celebrates Tyler’s victory in the ring.
A-Kid hands the Heritage Cup to Tyler.
