NEW MATCH ADDED TO WWE NXT, TODD PETTENGILL RETURNING

WWE NXT Tag Team Champions MSK vs. Breezango has been added to tonight's edition of NXT TV on the USA Network.

Todd Pettengill, fittingly, will be returning to WWE to host the NXT Takeover: In Your House PPV, Johnny Gargano announced on a Barstool Sports podcast today.  Pettengill worked for World Wrestling Entertainment as an announcer in the mid-1990s, closed his 27-year run as a morning show host on WPLJ 95.5 FM in New York City in May 2019 when the station shut down.    Pettengill began co-hosting PLJ's morning show with the legendary Scott Shannon in the mid-1990s and during his time with WWE, Pettengill would cross-promote the company, with PLJ personalities regularly getting involved in a number of NYC-based WWE charitable events to raise money for the Salvation Army and other organizations.  After Shannon's exit in 2014, Pettengill became the lead personality of the show.  Since the demise of PLJ, Pettingill has launched a daily subscription audio and video show at www.HeyTodd.com.  He took part in the live WWE Watchalong of the 2020 Royal Rumble in Houston, Texas and hosted last year's Takeover: In Your House event as well, filming content from his studio in Texas.
