'90 DAY FIANCE' STAR MAKES PRO WRESTLING DEBUT

Paola Mayfield, the 90 Day Fiance star who's romance with husband Russ was chronicled on the TLC reality series, has been training as a professional wrestler and recently made her in-ring debut, wrestling AEW Dark regular KiLynn King on 5/1 in Miami, Florda:

The 33 year old noted on her social media that she trained with JB Cool of FEW, a promotion in Florida, where Mayfield resides.  She wrestled under the ring name Paola Blaze with the match ending in a DQ.

90 Day Fiance follows couples who deal with adversity and drama stemming from the international nature of their relationships, including when they are granted a K-1 visa allowing them to enter and live in the United States for 90 days, at which point they must marry or leave the country.  Given that there are different cultural differences and personality conflicts as the couples live together for the first time, you can imagine where this goes dramatically.  The reality franchise has been a massive ratings maker for TLC and its parent company Discovery.

Paola, originally from Colombia, and Russ were part of the intiial season of the series back in 2014 and have returned for a number of spin-off appearances across the franchise's different series.
