Daniel Bryan has been moved to the Alumni section of WWE's website.
PWInsider has been told that internally, he has been officially removed from the company's roster. The removal from the roster happened over the last 72 hours. We can confirm that as of this AM, there are no current creative plans for Bryan but the two sides are still talking. We have been unable to confirm whether he is still locked into a separate deal for the Total Bellas reality series.
Bryan commented on the status of his contract last week while promoting his bout against Roman Reigns with TVLine.com, stating, "It’s funny that people gravitate towards the date “September,” and I think it’s because that’s when my last contract ended, but it doesn’t end in September. I’m still trying to figure out what that looks like… You get to that point where it’s like, how long can I do this full-time and still be able to do those kinds of things with my daughter? What’s the right balance between part-time and that sort of thing? It may be that it’s just every once in a while when the urge strikes, or maybe like a schedule where it’s like eight months on, these months off."
It was initially reported overnight by Fightful.com that Daniel Bryan's existing WWE deal was believe to have expired over the last week.
