NWA POWERRR SURGE ON FITE.TV REPORT

By Anthony Pires on 2021-05-05 02:12:00

It is episode 2 of NWA Powerrr Surge, sort of a catch up point the NWA does monthly.

Joe Galli and May Valentine are our hosts for tonight. Nick Aldis and Thunder Rosa will join us tonight.  We see highlights of last week's confrontation between the teams of Thunder Rosa & Melina and Kamille and Tamryn Terell.  Thunder Rosa joins the desk.  While she expects Kamille to meet her again, she thinks Kamille is a coward.  Rosa talks about her training facility.  The critics do not bother Thunder Rosa.  May seems to be egging her on.  Galli wants her to stick around for our first match, pre recorded.

Sky Blue vs. Jennacide

Blue fires away with forearms but Jennacide puts her down with a shove.  Beil throw by Jennacide, she misses a charge. Blue tries a springboard arm drag but Jennacide blocks it and throws her down. Jennacide with a surf board.  Shoulder block by Jennacide and a running boot into the corner for 2.  Blue fires away and applies the Octoupus but Jennacide with a side slam for 2.  Joe Galli wonders if Kamille is looking on.  Jennacide misses a Vader bomb.  Pump kick and a knee lift by Blue.  Cross body for 1 by Blue.  Jennacide blocks suplex and hits a tombstone for the pin.

WINNER: Jennacide

We see highlights of Tyrus earning his NWA TV title shot.  As a reminder, he went to a time limit draw with Pope in his subsequent opportunity.

We then see the pitfalls that have befallen Trevor Murdoch.  As a reminder, we're in day 7 of his 30 day NWA suspension.

May Valentine is with Trevor Murdoch.  He's physically beat up.  Mentally, he's tired.  He feels like he let Harley Race down.  Valentine does a good job with these interviews.  When his suspension is up, he's going to work harder than ever.  He'll sleep in his car if he has to in order to prove to his sons that hard work can make your dreams come true.  There's a degree of sadness he feels in his situation right now.

We are treated to some highlights of NWA Tag Team Champion Aron Stevens.  He and partner JR Kratos are not getting along.

Nick Aldis joins the booth.  He gives a little state of the NWA and the team of KRatos and Stevens.  Galli accuses Aldis of stirring the pot so Thom Lattimer and Chris Adonis can get their tag team title shot.  Aldis announces that Lattimer and Adonis are the number one contenders to the titles.  When asked about future NWA World Title challengers, Aldis wants only whomever brings the best box office opportunity.  There will be a 14 man battle royal in 3 weeks for a title shot.  Mr. Aldis is not happy about this turn of events.

The champ storms off as we go off the air.
