MLW FUSION REPORT: TEAM FILTHY VERSUS THE VON ERICHS IN SINGLES MATCHES, SALINA GOES ON A TRIP, REED SHOWN NO RESPECT, AND MORE

We start off with comments from Marshall Von Erich and Tom Lawlor.

We are in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Ray Flores and Jared St. Laurent.

Match Number One: Dominic Garrini (with Kevin Ku) versus Ross Von Erich (with Marshall Von Erich)

Garrini drops to the mat before locking up and Ross with a kick to the leg. Garrini gets back to his feet and they go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Garrini with a take down but Ross gets to the ropes. Ross with a take down and Ross goes for a waist lock but Garrini with a wrist lock and Ross gets to the ropes. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock again and Ross takes Dominic to the mat. Garrini with a heel hook. Ross with kicks to get out of the hold.

Garrini with a front face lock and Ross with a waist lock and take down but Garrini with a body scissors. Garrini slaps Ross but Ross turns Garrini over and Ross with slaps to Garrini. Garrini with a triangle into a cross arm breaker. Ross with a rollup for a near fall. Ross with punches and forearms. Garrini with forearms. They go back and forth with forearms. Garrini with a chop and they continue to alternate strikes. Garrini with punches and then Ross joins in. Garrini with a back fist and Ross with a back kick and a series of kicks to the chest.

Ross with a running kick for a near fall. Garrini with a guillotine on Ross and Ross gets to the ropes to force a break. Garrini with strikes and a knee to the midsection. Garrini goes for a suplex but Ross blocks it and hits a Falcon Arrow for the three count.

Winner: Ross Von Erich

After the match, Ku, Garrini, and the Von Erichs push each other in the ring and referees have to come out to settle things.

Ray mentions MLW’s debut on Vice this Saturday at noon.

Tom Lawlor yells at Kevin Ku and Dominic Garrini. Tom says Marshall stuck his nose in their business. What is Marshall doing out there, it is a one on one competition. Tom says he has an idea. Tom starts texting as we go to commercial.

We are back with comments from Myron Reed and Lio Rush about their match next week as we see how Rush won the Middleweight Championship.

We see Tom Lawlor meeting with Tim Donaghy. He wants Tim to make sure things are on the ‘up and up’. He gives Tim an envelope but Tim says it is lighter than usual but he can make it work.

We go to Los Angeles for the Media Event and Lio Rush is not there yet.

Match Number Two: Bu Ku Dao versus Hijo de LA Park (with Salina de la Renta)

Hijo wants a test of strength but he knows that Dao cannot grab his hand that high. Hijo offers his hand and Dao shakes it and Hijo raises Dao’s arm, only to connect with a short arm clothesline. Hijo with kicks and he chokes Dao. Hijo with an Irish whip and thrust kick. Hijo with a reverse chin lock and Hijo takes off his belt and he whips Dao with it and the referee allows it. Hijo chokes Dao with the belt in the ropes.

Hijo sends Dao to the floor and Hijo follows. Hijo slams Dao on the floor and Hijo poses. Hijo with a chop and he fish hooks Dao. They return to the ring and Hijo with a Jericho cover for a near fall. Hijo with a chop against the ropes and Dao goes down. Hijo gets a near fall. Dao with a flying shoulder tackle followed by a drop kick and face buster. Dao with a bulldog.

Hijo goes to the floor and Dao with a suicide dive. They return to the ring and Dao with a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Hijo with chops.

Dao with an Irish whip and Hijo puts Dao in the ropes and Hijo with an enzuigiri and a lungblower in the ropes for a near fall. Dao with a satellite head scissors into a crossface. Dao releases the hold. Hijo with an Irsih whp and Dao gets his feet up. Hijo with a kick and he hits a leg sweep. Hijo with a running double knee strike into the corner and Hijo poses. Hijo gets a near fall.

Hijo puts Dao on the turnbuckles. Hijo gyrates and then Dao kicks Hijo away and hits a tornado Flatliner for the three count.

Winner: Bu Ku Dao

After the match, Salina storms to the back in disgust.

Bu Ku Dao is in the back and he says after you disrespected me TJP, I hate you. I dedicate that match to my parents.

We are told that Lio Rush never made his flight for the press conference.

Alicia Atout is in the back and she mentions the championship committee. She says the committee is composed of promoters from around the world including representatives from Dragon Gate, Rev Pro, and an MLW member whose name has not been revealed yet. There is a meeting to discuss the new season that kicks off on July 10th.

We go to Alicia Atout with Marshall Von Erich. She asks him about his match against Tom Lawlor. Marshall says he has to be ready because you never know what is going to happen with Tom Lawlor.

Tom shows up and he says he wants things on a level playing ground after what happened earlier. He says that what he sees is not all genetics and Tim Donaghy shows up with a cup and it is time for Marshall to fill the cup.

Alicia says she has never seen this before and Tom asks how many times has she been to a legitimate sporting event and they need to be tested by the athletic commission. Is that all genetics that allows him to use that powerful of a claw. He says this isn’t Canada.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at what happened to Hijo de LA Park earlier tonight.

We see footage of Salina being taken out of the building with a hood over her head.

We go to Myron Reed. He wants to know if they are playing games by not showing up to media events. You want to be scary a week before our match? I am taking time away from my family, my friends, and my wife. You don’t care about the title or MLW. You don’t give a damn about the fans. All you want is clout and fame. That is not what the Young GOAT wants. I am in the gym every day. I know what I did wrong the first time and I will right those wrongs. Rush hour is about to be up.

We are told that Alexander Hammerstone will be at the 2300 Arena in July.

Alexander Hammerstone is with Alicia Atout and she asks him what is next.

Hammerstone says he is coming up on two years as champion. I wanted to make this the wrestler’s title. It is time to give the people what they want. He did not see his name come up so much on the internet until they asked who should face Jacob Fatu. I think you are scared of me. Maybe Josef Samael has his leash on too tight. Maybe you are afraid of hiking up Muscle Mountain. Your reign of terror is numbered. When I get you up for that Nightmare Pendulum, that will be the end of you holding that World Championship.

Alicia Atout is with Tom Lawlor and she says they are waiting for the result of the drug test. Tom wonders how big is Marshall’s bladder. Who knows what is going through his blood.

Tim shows up and says that he passed the est.

Marshall throws his sample in Tom’s face and he tells Tom it is warm.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that Lio Rush has been fined for no showing the press conference.

Richard Holliday will be in action next week.

Contra Unit interrupts the program and Josef Samael says that Alex Hammerstone is saying all the right words, but does he mean them? Even if you did, you don’t call the shots. Keep your ringer on, maybe I have a refrigerator to move and you are the first idiot I will call.

Match Number Three: Tom Lawlor (with Kevin Ku and Dominic Garrini) versus Marshall Von Erich (with Ross Von Erich)

Lawlor with a drop kick to the knee when the bell rings. Marshall with forearms and punches. Lawlor with a single leg take down and Lawlor sends the knee into the mat. Lawlor with a forearm and chop. Lawlor with more forearms. Marshall with forearms of his own. Marshall with a forearm to the back and a European uppercut. Lawlor with forearms and a European uppercut. Lawlor with a chop and then he puts the leg in the ropes. Lawlor with a chop and a drop kick to the knee.

Lawlor with a kick to the back of the leg. Lawlor with a forearm and a waist lock. Marshall with elbows and a standing switch. Lawlor reaches for the ropes and gets there. Lawlor grabs the referee and then he tries to push Marshall into the referee. Lawlor clips Marshall. Lawlor with a Stroke and a Fujiwara arm bar and he goes for the leg. Marshall gets to the ropes to force a break.

Lawlor with a kick to the back of the leg. Lawlor wit a forearm and chop. Lawlor with a KneeDT and he connects with a forearm. Marshall with forearms. Marshall with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Marshall goes for a suplex but Lawlor blocks it. Marshall with clotheslines to the chest and back and then he gets Lawlor to the mat. Ku and Garrini are on the apron and the referee loses focus. Lawlor grabs a wrench that happened to be on the apron and Lawlor hits Marshall in the leg with it. Marshall with a knee drop to the leg and then Lawlor drops down onto the leg in the ropes.

Lawlor with a kick to the hamstring and he follows with forearms. Marshall with forearms. Lawlor with an Irish whip and Marshall’s leg gives out and he falls to the mat. Lawlor puts the legs in a figure four and Lawlor drives the legs into the mat. Lawlor with a kick to the chest followed by chops and forearms. Lawlor chokes Marshall in the ropes. Lawlor with a forearm and a clothesline in the corner. Lawlor misses a clothesline and Marshall with drop kicks but Lawlor swats a third attempt away. Lawlor puts the legs in a figure four and Lawlor drops back to the mat. Lawlor with a figure four knee bar. Marshall with forearms and he tries for a claw. Lawlor kicks the leg many times and Lawlor with a heel hook. Marshall with a claw and Lawlor is able to escape while holding on to the heel hook. Marshall returns to the claw and Marshall with forearms as well.

Lawlor with a kick to the knee and Lawlor with a uranage and both men are down. Marshall with forearms and Lawlor fires back. Lawlor with chops and forearms and Marshall with forearms. Lawlor with a guillotine and he adds the body scissors to get Marshall to the mat. Marshall with a claw and he hits a claw slam for a near fall. Marshall with a claw on Lawlor. Lawlor with punches and a shot to the knee to get out of the claw.

Lawlor with a single leg take down and a single leg crab. Lawlor twists the knee to add more pressure and Marshall passes out.

Winner: Tom Lawlor

After the match, Ross checks on his brother while Tom celebrates his victory. Lawlor attacks Ross and then Ku and Garrini join in the attack. Ku works over Marshall while Garrini and Lawlor continue the attack on Ross.

ACH makes his way to the ring and he goes after Ku and Lawlor. ACH sends Garrini to the mat and then he punches Lawlor.

Referees come to the ring to try to break things up.
