Once again, the GBP Studios in Atlanta Georgia serves as the battleground for tonight's episode of NWA Powerrr. The beautiful, dulcet tones of Dokken greet us. Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Velvet Sky have the call of the action. A big TV Title match is our feature as Da Pope goes for title defense #3 in his quest for the Lucky 7.
Kyle Davis introduces our NWA World's Champion, Nick Aldis. The champ is very serious as he reminds us that on a scale of 1-10, he's an 11. We see some of the bad breaks that have befallen Treveor Murdoch over the last few weeks. Davis points out that Davis' issue with Murdoch seems personal. Aldis takes great umbrage with that. Respectfully, Mr. Aldis asks Trevor to come out and he obliges. Murdoch reminds Aldis of all the things he's said about him over the last few months. The only thing Murdoch wants is an apology. No way Mr. Aldis will comply. Aldis offers him a NATIONAL title shot. There'll be a six man tag tonight, Lattimer, Adonis and a mystery partner against Murdoch and any partners he chooses. IF Murdoch's team wins, he gets a National title shot. If Murdoch's team loses, he leaves the NWA for 30 days. Murdoch accepts.
Joe Galli puts over how huge this main event is.
JR Kratos (NWA World Tag Team Champion) vs. Sal Rinauro
Sal tries to roll him us but Kratos blocks it and pounds him in the face. Big right hand and down goes Rinauro and Kratos drives the elbow. Kratos with a dead lift suplex. Danny Deals and May Valentine come out and Kratos destroys Deals. Kratos stomps down on Rinauro as Aron Stevens comes out to call off the assault. The refereecalls for the bell.
WINNER: No Contest
Kratos challenges Tim Storm at the announce booth. He's furious. While they're jaw jacking, here comes Thom Lattimer and Chris Adonis. They offer Kratos the shot at being the 3rd man. He accepts. Valentine tends to Sal as we go to commercial.
Slice Boogie and Jax Dane face off next week and they both square off at the desk. It'll be falls count anywhere. Boogie is all over him verbally, putting over his tag team wins over Jax. Jax gives him credit, fair enough. He vows revenge. Davis implores them to save it for next week.
Tim Storm has left the booth. Interesting...
NWA TV Title: Da Pope (NWA TV Champion) vs. Tyrus w/ Austin Idol
Reminder that we have a 6:05 time limit. Idol joins the booth. I love the 6:05 gimmick. Pope evades him and slaps on a side headlock, Tyrus throws him off. Go behind by Pope and Tyrus backs him into the corner and throws his weight behind him. Tyrus misses an avalanche. Idol leaves the booth and distracts Pope. Tyrus with an avalanche and Elbow for a series of 2 counts. 4 minutes remain. Tyrus with a suplex for 2. Tyrus is taking his time and Pope with a chop and a shoulder block that doesn't register. Tyrus with an eye rake. He goes to work on Pope in the corner. Idol and Sky get into a serious argument. Bearhug by Tyrus but there's only 2 minutes left. Pope with chops and fires away with right hands. Pope with a DDT. Pope goes to the top and nails a dropkick. Tyrus rolls out and Pope with a cross body to the outside. Idol tries to interfere but Pope catches him and chokes him on the outside as time expires.
RESULT: Time limit draw. Pope retains the NWA TV Title
May Valentine brings out Thunder Rosa for a Summit with Kamille. However, Valentine decrees that each woman needs a representative to speak on their behalf. Rosa chooses Melina. Kamile comes out and chooses Teryn Terrell. Melina takes up for Rosa and Terrell points out that no matter what, KAmille is your #1 contender. Melina wants a rematch for Rosa for the #1 contendership. There'll be conditions. Kamille and Terrell will present those conditions next week. Kyle Davis tries to calm things down and gets between the warring parties.
Thom Lattimer, Chris Adonis & Kratos vs. Trevor Murdoch, Sal Rinauro and Aron Stevens
This'll do nothing for Kratos and Steven's cohesiveness. Tim Storm comes out and sends Sal to the back. We have a new main event
Thom Lattimer, Chris Adonis & Kratos vs. Trevor Murdoch, Tim Storm and Aron Stevens
A six way brawl kicks things off. Kratos works over Storm on the inside, he fores away with forearms. Adonis and Stevens exchange on the outside, Murdoch comes to his aid. Team Adonis works over Storm but we finally get a bell. Storm and LAttimer are the first legal men. Shoulderblock by Storm form 2, Murdch tags in, he chops away at Lattimer and nails a clothesline and a snap mare for 1. Stevens tags in and hits a Russian Leg Sweep and an elbow for 1, broken up by Adonis. Lattimer with a bodyslam and tag in adonis. He misses an elbow and Stevens with a kneelift and a kneedrop to the jaw for 2. Murdoch tags in and nails a vertical suplex. Adonis bullies him into the corner and tags in LAttimer.
