We’re starting off big with Chuck Taylor taking on Rey Fenix. There are fans in the crowd, so this must have been the pre-Dynamite warmup. Penta and Trent? are ringside to watch their partners’ backs. Taylor is bleeding from the mouth, before Alex Abrahantes comes out and runs his mouth. Orange Cassidy shows up, but Penta hits him with a superkick. With the distraction of the stage, Fenix hooks in La Magistral for the win. A nice reminder for Penta vs. Orange Cassidy on Wednesday.
Ryan Nemeth is coming to the ring with Peter Avalon, Cezar Bononi, and JD Drake to face Ryzin. As JD Drake is complaining to Aubrey Edwards that Ryzin is pulling hair, Bononi trips Ryzin and causes Nemeth to miss a dropkick. That’s unfortunate. The Pretty Picture boys need to get on the same page. Nemeth connects with a Rude Awakening and gets the win. Ryzin is dangerously close to that point of losing too much to matter in the future.
Orange Cassidy is taking on Dean Alexander, who is adding a few pieces of heel accoutrement to his look. Alexander doesn’t let Cassidy get his hands in his pockets right away, but Cassidy hits the Orange Punch. Orange wins.
We’re in the back with Nemeth, Bononi, and Avalon, calling themselves the Wingmen. Drake walks in wearing one of the sheer shirts Nemeth got him last week. And Drake is surprisingly into that shirt before they hit the club.
Anthony Bowens is off the injured list, as the Acclaimed take on former Evolve talent, Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis. Gray took most of the punishment to begin the match. Alanis tags in, but doesn’t fare much better. Acclaimed win.
In the back, Alex Reynolds is talking to 5 about their match with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. 5 tries a John Silver impression, but Reynolds doesn’t like it.
Nick Comoroto is out with the rest of The Factory. Comoroto sets up the ring steps throne for QT Marshall. VSK tries to start the match with a dropkick, but Comoroto immediately rebounds and takes control. Military press into the powerslam for a quick win for Comoroto.
We see Legit Leyla Hirsch in the gym, talking about growing up and getting adopted by American parents and excelling in sports as a child. She talks about her path to pro wrestling, being on the boys’ wrestling team, her trips to Germany and Japan, and getting signed to AEW. Hirsch says she’s not here to look pretty or show off her body; she’s here to win.
Amber Nova and Diamante are tagging together to face Leyla Hirsch and Ryo Mizunami. Hirsch locks in the cross arm breaker on Amber Nova for the quick tap out. Diamante attacks after the match, and Mizunami runs her off. We’re told Diamante and Leyla Hirsch will face off next week on Dark.
Dasha is in the back with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Sky and Page are arguing about their team name and how to order their names. But Dasha asks about their match tonight. Page says they’re not even facing the best team of the Dark Order, so there’s no problem.
Tesha Price takes on Kris Stadtlander, who has the Best Friends with her. Tesha Price doesn’t want to get booped. That’s too bad, because she gets hit with Big Bang Theory. The alien wins.
Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page (or is it Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky) head to the ring to wrestle Alex Reynolds and “5” Alan Angels from the Dark Order. Sky and Page focus their energy on the smaller 5, but 5 is able to wiggle out of Ego’s Edge and get the tag. Reynolds gets dumped to the floor, and Page blocks the Wing Snapper. Sky pulls 5 off the top rope. Third time trying for Ego’s Edge finally gets it, and Sky and Page win.
Vickie Guerrero wants to check Justin Roberts out, and then she kicks him out of the ring to introduce the Native Beast Nyla Rose and the “irrelevant” Madi Wrenkowski. Well, that’s not nice. Wrenkowski is clearly intimidated by Rose. Big Swole, debuting a new haircut, and Red Velvet come out next. Nyla Rose starts off the match, but Wrenkowski wants in. Rose tags her in and beals her into the ring. Again, not nice. Rose wants to tag back in, but Wrenkowski doesn’t immediately do it. So Rose powerbombs Wrenkowski and leaves. Red Velvet covers to get the pinfall win.
Joey Janela vs Matt Sydal is up next. Sonny Kiss and Mike Sydal both stay ringside. Janela and Sydal start off chain wrestling, and a respectful fist bump when they stalemate. Schiavone and Wight talk about Janela paying his dues and Sydal evolving his in-ring style. Neither man gets the prolonged advantage. Janela goes to the top for the Greetings from Asbury Park (not Bam Bam Bigelow’s version), but Sydal gets the knees up. Lightning Spiral and Sydal gets the pin.
